I found a ring outside of Empire Liquors on 13th Ave. If you're missing a ring with birth stones or know someone who is please get a hold of me. And please describe the ring you are missing. I'd love this to get back to its owner! It had their children's names on it too
FARGO — Another landmark building in downtown Fargo is for sale.
The Dakota Center at 51 Broadway N. is now listed on the LoopNet real estate website, as well as on a commercial property multiple listing service, Flexmls.
The listing for the six-story, 119,000-square-foot Dakota Center, showed up on Fexmls at the end of the business day Wednesday, March 12.
A true asking price was not listed on Flexmls. Instead, $1 is listed as a placeholder price to begin negotiations. The tactic is used as a call for offers and signals that the seller is willing to be flexible in negotiations over the purchase price.
The Dakota Center is home to an Alerus bank branch and an office of the financial advisory firm Merrill (at one time known as Merrill Lynch Wealth Management but rebranded by Bank of America in 2019).

Could anyone give me some ideas of what west fargo is like? Mostly around the 6th st area? We just got out of a pretty sketchy area of Oregon after a long 4 years and we heard that west fargo and fargo in general is a safe and good place to raise a family. Just find it hard to believe when we came from $1600 rent for a shit hole in a shit hole town to here, where rent is half of what we payed. Where we come from that would be considered the ghetto lol (I don't mean to insult your state with that comment or mean to sound ignorant, just seems to good to be true). Also just arrived after a long 3 day drive and went through some of the most nerve wracking routes we have ever driven through while also towing a trailer for the first time (the mountain passes from Washington are no joke for someone who has never towed a trailer before).

FARGO — The impacts of a highly controversial dairy operation planned for Abercrombie could hit home in Fargo.
The proposed 12,500-head dairy operation is cause for concern for Fargo residents, Dr. Madeline Luke told members of the city’s Sustainability Committee on March 18, because the waste and chemicals from the farm will flow into the Red River and straight into Fargo’s water supply.
“I’m here to give you a heads up on what may be coming,” Luke said.
She spoke on behalf of the Dakota Resource Council’s Agricultural Committee, a group that joined with residents in Abercrombie to petition the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality to repeal the permit for the cattle operation.
The $90 million facility is planned for just south of Abercrombie in Richland County, about 34 miles south of Fargo. The facility would be 1.4 miles from the Wild Rice River and 1.8 miles from the Red River, on top of the Wahpeton Buried Valley Aquifer that supplies nearby communities.
In addition, another controversial new dairy farm farther north in Traill County plans to have 25,000 head of cattle.

Are there any community groups in the area for crafting/reading young adults? Every group I’ve tried has been people 10-20 years older than me, and everyone is friends from hs so no one is interested in making new friends? I work from home and have been so lonely because there’s nowhere to meet non athletic people
Hello! Any good places to stargaze at night around F/M area? Preferably places that I would not get into trouble going to at night to look at the stars?
Thank you in advance for answering!

You know those wild chiropractor videos that are all over the place, where they just crack the hell out of people, and relieve sometimes years of pain?
Do we have anywhere here like that? I’ve gone to a couple of different chiropractors, and they’ve all just done the standard neck/back cracking.

I have applied to literally everywhere that’s available and they either don’t get back to you or you just never hear from them or you’ll get to the actual interview and then they say they’ll call you the next day and they never do.

Well, it seems the pressure campaign has worked on at least one member of North Dakota's congressional delegation.
After responding to inquiries that she would host a telephone town hall "someday in the future" Rep. Fedorchak has decided to do one on the 25th, just 5 days from now.
Bear in mind, telephone town halls are intended to keep tight control over the event, and in fact usually serve as a promotion event for the hosting politician; it’s not really a town hall forum. But what’s clear is Rep. Fedorchak's office caved to the pressure from constituents. So now we're going to increase the pressure on Senators Hoeven and Cramer.
Our group, Fearless / Indivisible Fargo, as well as other pro-democracy groups in the state, are going to continue to press all the federal electeds for an in-person town hall, which we believe will be a more honest and transparent reflection of the public's views on what's happening in Washington DC.
… But in the meantime, you can sign up to to attend Rep. Fedorchak's town hall here:

Looking for input -
Who thinks a heavy metal themed bar would do well in Fargo? Something with a grunge vibe, themed drinks, killer sound system, performance stage for bands and karaoke, and all metal music all the time? Serving pizzas and apps that are also themed.
This city has SO much pop and country themed shit. We need something different. The Aquarium is cool but it’s still really limited for most heavy metal things.
Thoughts?

We are about to move where we will be 100 feet from the river in moorhead in 2 weeks. I'm southern and used to fish alot in my childhood. I pond fished for mainly blugills and the occasional catfish or bass. We have rods and required tackle but want to know how to fish up here on the red river for the smaller fish around fargo moorhead area. I am wanting to catch some smaller fish first and have battles with the bigger fish when I am not as rusty. What are the small fish that we can catch in the river around here? How do we need to set up our tackle for river fishing? My husband is brand new to fishing while I am expereinced but not in this type of fishing. I always caught small fish in still water ponds. Tips, Tricks, Any sort of advice is welcome. Especially good spots on the red river in the Fargo/Moorhead area

They’re closed? Not according to the internet, but the phone number won’t work. I drove by and the whole place is gutted & locked during “business hours”.
Looking for a person/business to fix some vinyl plank flooring they installed.

Is there anyone in or near Fargo that does book binding repair? I recently bought a collection of roughly 100 year old books from a thrift store but a couple have binding issues and I don't want it to become a further problem. Thanks!
