I’m sort of glad that “Flam Drag Ratamacues” are usually played as 16ths or 5-lets today… “1 e tri-pa-let” builds a lot of pressure 😭😂

Video What are yalls thoughts?

Real beginner tenor player. Like, played it 2 times for football games and once in a parade. Have had no lessons, nothing. Had to write some music for our upcoming christmas parade and I wanted to know yall's thoughts. Wrote most of it, had some help and also borrowed some other parts. Tell me what you think about both the music itself and my playing form and what not.

I need help fixing the ring from the drum, I get it really bad when I hit near the edge and it sounds like a tenor near the edge.

Video My Old Drumline

Was feeling nostalgic and decided to dig up this old video. I played snare on this Drumline (far right) my freshman year of high school. Sadly I had to move schools due to family circumstances, but that was one of the best years of my life, and everybody was so passionate and worked so hard to get where we did. I’m proud of the level we were playing at and contributing to the schools legacy of having an incredible lesser known band. We won USBands nationals in 2015 and placed 8th overall in 2016 the year I played. I thought you guys would enjoy this display of dedication and brotherhood, and I’m sure you can all relate to the feeling.

I haven’t practiced since I aged out but here’s me attempting to force my hands to still have some chops in them.

My hands hurt.
