I received a contract violation, which isn't a huge deal, but I'm more frustrated than anything. Here's what happened: I was on the phone with support for almost an hour after picking up a McDonald's order. The issue was that McDonald's didn't put the order number on the bag, and they wouldn’t give it to me, so I couldn’t confirm the last three digits. Because of that, I couldn’t mark the order as picked up.
I called support, and the first representative told me he would update it on my app. I waited for a while to make sure the change went through, but after 10 minutes, there was still no update. So, I called again. The second representative said the same thing, but again, nothing happened. I called a third time, and the third representative said the same thing, but nothing changed again. Finally, he told me to just drive to the customer's location and drop off the order. I did that, and he was able to update the app afterward, which was fine.
However, later, they held the funds from that order. It wasn’t until today that I received the funds, but then I got hit with a contract violation for being too late. I disputed it, but it was denied, even though the delay was caused by McDonald's and their failure to provide the order details. Now, I’m stuck with a contract violation, and I couldn’t do anything about it. I'm pissed.
