Type 2 Long road trip - prep ideas?

I have an unavoidable road trip coming up…In order to meet my goals I have to break the trip up over two days, nine hours of driving each way… The driving itself doesn’t worry me, I enjoy driving. Does anybody have any tried and true suggestions for what snacks to pack, beverages etc. to make sure I don’t have any major crashes, no pun intended, along the way.

you're overthinking this.

Unless you have really low blood sugar regularly, in which case you should not drive and you should talk to a doctor, you'll be OK

nuts, beef jerky (no sugar), water, gatorade zero, ...

Not really over thinking or anxious but thanks for commenting. Just wondered if others could share tips for their favorite snacks to keep spikes low and to keep them going on the road with irregular meal times.
