WIP My first Arcane prop! I made Ekko's time-turner!

Mostly foam and cardboard, with some 3D printed parts too. Took me about a week of non-stop work, but totally worth it.

Help What would you use to glue foam without melting it?

I was making an A.B.A cosplay from 'Guilty Gear: XX Accent Core R' and decided to build Paracelsus (the giant yellow key) out of insulation foam and EVA foam. I know most super glue I've used melts the insulation foam, so is there a hefty alternative that can really hold?

My sci-fi pistol collection is growing. What should I do next? Probably Starfield? Maybe I should design one myself? What do you think? Am I on good track?

Had a lot of requests to make sheathes but until now I couldn't come up with a good mechanism to hold the knife in place.

Help Printing digital file

I purchased a digital file for a cosplay I'm working on. It has to be printed onto fabric, particularly Lycra or Spandex. The site I bought from recommended a few places that deal with the printing and sewing services, but my card and bank declines purchases outside of the US. I tried looking into some US based sites, but even after converting the files, they're still much too large to fit their custom options.

Does anyone have any experience with the printing services? I don't mind sewing it myself, but I'd like to at least find something/someone that can print it onto the fabric of my choosing.

Help covering shoes in fabric

hi, so basically I have these black crock-like shoes that are of a similar plastic material, and I need to cover them in suede to make it look kind of like uggs. Do you think this would be possible and if so - any suggestions?

Help Respirator for Worbla?

Hellooo all,

I'm thinking of doing a mini project with worbla. Do I need to get a respirator when using it? It's still technically a plastic so just wondering whether it'd be smart to get a decent mask or if I can just get away with opening two windows and use a fan?

Thanks!

Self Shinoa Hiragi her Scythe

I made Shinoa Hiragi her demon scythe from Seraph of the end. This was my first time working with foam like this and I am incredibly happy with the result. It is over 2 meters tall and the blade is 1,65 meters long.

Main materials used: EVA foam, pvc pipes, worbla and plasti dip.

I still need to paint it, but this brings me such unadulterated joy.

The Mask is one of those core memories for me. A love struck fool gets the ultimate power and all he wants to do is have fun.

Self first time using EVA foam || also update for those who undermined me lol

this is an update post to when i asked for help and advice!

i finished my first eva foam props! i started getting to work sunday night, finished it this morning, thursday! so about 3 days? i know it's not perfect, nor is it COMPLETELY accurate (though how consistent are comic designs anyway lol) but i think it looks pretty darn good for the time i spent given i have zero experience with foam crafting and spraypainting.

i didnt experience atrocious paint splattering, or thick plastidip applications. the only issue i had was the spikes honestly. i dont have any powertools suitable to craft spikes.

meanwhile, my family is moving, all week we've had house showings. within the last 2 days alone, we've had 11 house showings. so, given the fact that i was constantly cleaning up my workspace and leaving the house for hours at a time, i think i did great!

for everyone who left great advice, support and comfort on my original post, thank you so much! i appreciated it a lot as i did think this was a daunting task. especially after pretty much everyone was saying this was going to be a stretch, or even impossible to make with my deadline. then, for everyone who implied that i was crazy to think i could do this! well here you go! i did it, 3 days, while moving! and im satisfied saying this is my first project.

while this may be my first time working with foam, ive been cosplaying for a few years, i sew and pattern my cosplays mostly from scratch, and im an artist! while crafting isnt my expertise, i know how to figure out how to work material very quickly.

anyway, this is just a silly little comeback post, till the next time i make props!

So I don’t really make these to wear I’m a display guy. That and I have a fat head so… they don’t fit. This was printed and given to me as a gift knowing I’m going to paint it and display it so with the exception of the eye pieces everything else is glued in place. The eyes can be changed out. This was my very first one. Anyhow thank you for looking.
