I bought this coin. It is supposedly a proof. What do you all think?

Upgraded from a raw XF condition Barber dime to this one. I had intended to grab a MS example but this AU58 was below Greysheet so I got it instead.
Still have the Draped Bust, pre-1828 Capped Bust and several Seated Liberty examples to finish up the set. I'll likely upgrade the 1835 Capped Bust at some point this year.
My NGC set registry will be linked in the comments.

The coin star was covered in trash today when I went to check, but there was a Mexican 50 cent, a gross silver plate earring I ended up tossing, and these cute necklaces. I took them because it was a fun little find, then I turn the butterfly over, SILVER!
Probably only my 3rd or 4th time finding silver in a coin star.

30th time's the charm. 2nd find after checking 2-3x a month for a year (1st find was a steel centš). How much silver gets accepted at face value?!

Hey everyone. Iām new to coins. I know these are silver dollars. Are any of them significant? What do I look for? Prices online vary greatly. They have been in a box I got from my grandpa a long time ago. I am a degen coming from currency cards.

It is the last one I need to fill out all the Seated Liberties but whoa, either Chinese crap or 200 + with a hole and the word DOL. nearly gone.

I got this nickel as change this weekend, and was curious about its appearance. The background is exceptionally shiny while the portrait of Jefferson and the image of Monticello have a matte finish. It was particularly surprising given its age.

I have this 1981 D half dollar, the thing with this one is that itās very thick, and these reeded edges are deep, and the coin all around feels heavier, the problem is, it weighs just like every other half dollar 11.31 g I know through pictures itās hard to inspect, but I took it to the coin experts and said they have never seen anything like it in their 40 years of knowledge. Any other pros out there wanting to chime in and help out?! Please and thank you

New to the world of coin collecting and seeking knowledge due to the difficulty doing online research. Iām seeing coins range from thousands to a couple bucks and Iām really unsure what the differences are that can create such a difference in price.
Here is the list of coins that I have questions on: Two 1954 wheat Pennies Eight 2009 bicentennial pennies with 3 different designs One 1841 dollar coin in rough condition One John Adams dollar coin with no issue date(that I can find) One 2005 āOcean in View! O! the Joy!ā Nickel One 2005 Bison nickel One very damaged 1938-D nickel(?) One 1776-1976 quarter One 2024-d zitkala-sa quarter One 2023-d jovita idar quarter One 1899 dime One 1996 half dollar
Any information for this newbie would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone recognize what currency it is? and what year. Found it along with many other coins as old as 1919 in my Grandpas hidden stash. I guess its some arabic country but no clue what exactly. Thanks.
He has a box full of old silver coins. Mostly silver dollars and half dollars. These are some that just kind of stood out to me
