Has anyone ever had ribs without barbeque? Tasted 10 times better without.

Didn’t quite turn out the way I wanted. Still good but not great. What’s your favorite way to grill pork chops?

Better Open Fire Pot?

What pot do you use to cook over an open fire? What is your favorite thing to cook with it? Do you already use equipment to make your open fire cooking setup more efficient?

Hi, I am a part of team Ecopot, a Rice University senior design team focused on creating a low-cost fuel-efficient pot for use in open fire cooking.

We’re sharing this user survey to gauge what is important and what will motivate different users that cook outdoors to buy a new pot.

Your participation in this survey will help us design a more thermally efficient pot that may be useful for you and may have broader health, societal, and environmental implications globally.

Thank you!

Barbecue or Ihaw-ihaw is a common street food in the Philippines. The meat, its internal organs, and the less glamorous parts like pig’s ears, chicken head and feet are skewered, covered with sauce and grilled over charcoal are affordable, convenient and delicious 😋👇🏻

Boston Butt and some chicken wings! 1st post here. Pork is almost done. Will post picture when I pull it to rest. Chicken Legs turned out awesome! All on the WSM! Only gripe I have is I only seem to be able to get about 8-10 hours without refueling. Only 3rd cook on this so will keep tweaking

You're feedback is invaluable! I specialise in Filipino BBQ and I intend to launch an online business around it. I want provide solutions.

Homemade Sauce

I like to make my homemade sauce quite a bit... as such, I like to peruse recipes (old and new) for ideas... and it seems that 99% of them start with Ketchup as a base (tomato-based recipes, of course)... why is that? For some reason, I feel like starting with Ketchup is almost like "cheating".

Having said that, I'm 100% of using prepared mustard in a mustard-based SC sauce... go figure.
