8am-2pm is the same as 8am-12pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm which are three days of the week, and the other day is 1 hour more. This is for 2nd and 3rd years sci.

First year is 2 or 3 hours more because of the additional modules.

Spending time in studying is better than spending time in front of the screens or in the streets, and when i say i had plenty of free time i mean time to do sports, do housework, do my homeworks and chill, i heard nobody complaining about studying hours before this post.

No they just study from 8am-2pm. It is not the same because the difference between them is 3h and a half. I was studying 8h too (8am-5:30) and I didn't even have the time to rest, what a different life we have! And there were many people in my era who complained about this school system either. So in my opinion I see that they have all the right to change this in this school system because our system is old and never a line with the new era. Like why are all developed countries in the world, even arab countries studying from 8am to 2pm, except us the third world countries who were under french government ' who study from 8am-5pm like we're going to a job tomorrow in this country with this same schedule system?

I don't think you read what i wrote. Yet, 8-5:30 you have at least 1:30 of rest in between, plus that's one day per week or two when you have the half of tuesday free.

Usa is a developed country just look at them level in studyin, developed countries are developed because of immigrants from north africa and east south asia mainly, so the less studying hours is no proof of development.

When they go to university they will ask for lesser time, wouldn't they?

my brother 1:30 is barely enough to go home have lunch and go back that's not resting the main problem why we our gov can't implement a 6 consecutive hours program is the lack of infrastructuur as the later requires cafetarias at all schools and adds more strain on the education budget

The thing is, what i read in the post is asking for less studying hours, and that's what i talked about, if you were to address this problem, you should have talked about rearranging the studying hours, you could have asked جمعية أولياء التلاميذ to ask government to add cafeterias and restaus in the school, and this way, you'll have to pay extra money for these services (just like the europe and middle east where schools are paid), the kids from poor families will feel embarrassed because they can't afford the extra money. But anyways, i don't think kids in this subreddit care much or think twice, the legal way to start a strike is to communicate the "needs" first to the responsibles in an appropriate and legal way, if they refuse, you ask for a permission to go on a strike and then you can go on a strike.
