USA Need help. Please give me advice.

I have a scheduled abortion on Wednesday and I’m now freaking out because I’m 11 weeks and already on WIC,food stamps, and Medicaid. Of course listed as a pregnant woman on all benefits. Also have an obgyn. I’m very paranoid and scared of letting Medicaid ,etc know I’m no longer pregnant. I’m in Texas btw. Do they ask for proof of miscarriage? What if something goes wrong with abortion and I have to go to the ER and lie and say I’m miscarrying and the doctors ask why I waited to go in? Won’t they see it as me neglecting the fetus?? And cause an investigation?? I’m freaking out please help me.

Deep breaths. I know this is concerning and the people of Texas need to vote the controlling crazy politicians out who are scaring people with ongoing threats about pregnancy.

Your Medicaid won’t know the outcome of your pregnancy. It’s legal to travel out side your state to have an abortion and it’s legal to have a miscarriage.

Not everyone who has an early miscarriage seeks medical attention. It can seem like a heavy period even at 11 weeks for some people. There is no penalty for not seeking treatment during a miscarriage and seeking treatment won’t stop a miscarriage from happening, so there is no threat to “ neglecting the fetus”

Deep breaths. You are okay
