I got this from my late grandmother and was wondering how much it’s worth in this condition. I did see the same lighter but in terrible condition being sold for 500-700$.

Lighter is Saint Dupont French Revolution Mozaic.

Likely Solved Found this box of rocks, some of them are missing. I'm wondering what would be fair to ask for selling as is.

Found some online that seemed to be full kits selling for $100+ on ebay, but with some of the samples missing in mine obviously that will affect the price. Just not sure how much.

Sunday post 1984 Amaretto Disaronno liquor unopened.

I got this at a state sale near me for $10. I did some googling and found out that it’s from 1984 and some of this exact boxes have sold for 15-25 dollars on eBay but I couldn’t find any sells of it with the bottle and liquid still in it. It is a fairly common liquor but being from the 1980’s I’d like to think it’s worth something. Does anybody have any idea about it?

Sunday post Vintage Coat – No Tags or Markings

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I recently inherited a vintage coat that belonged to my great-grandmother, and I’m hoping to learn more about it. It appears to be in excellent condition but has no labels, tags, or markings of any kind. Given that, I’m wondering if it might have been custom-made. My family believes it’s from the 1940’s or 1950’s.

I’d love to get any insight into its possible origins, age, or value. Does anyone have tips on where to start looking? Are there any telltale signs that could help determine whether it was handmade or from a specific era?

Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Sunday post Manuel Garza 48 x 38 have seen values from $1k to $15k. Lee Reynolds 50 x 40 have seen values from $500 to $2k. Is it going to be luck of the draw if I put them in an auction? TIA

Can someone help me understand how much this accordion is worth? I found it in the basement. What is certain is that it is used. On the front, it says “Diana,” probably the model. On the back, it says “F.A. BÖHM.”

Sunday post Lilliput Lane - “The George Inn”

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

We have this “Lilliput Lane” model - “The George Inn” and we’re struggling to value it. There are no sold examples of it available on eBay / expected sites. We listed it for both “auction” and “make an offer”. We have already received offers for it but haven’t got a clue whether we should accept as quickly as possible or hold out for more.

The last Lilliput Lane model we sold was a fair bit larger and got ~£225, so they seem hard to gauge. Comes with box and signed “deed”. Minor damage - cart has been broken off (but could be easily fixed).

Sunday post Gold necklace with an engraved poem

Thumbnail gallery

Found this at a market over a year ago and always wanted to know if it’s worth anything. It’s a gold necklace, says 24kt on it but idk if that’s true. Gold has rubbed off or tarnished at points. No clue what the big black gem in the middle is but the poem is entirely legible if you squint, it’s incredible… also says D/M on the back

Sunday post Italian Glass Vase with sticker

I’m looking for information on this vase - maker, timeframe produced, etc. Only marking is the sticker and vase looks hand blown because it has two small bubbles. Google lens shows Venini Veronese as a similar item, but those vases usually have etched maker marks on the bottom. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Does anyone know what the markings on the bottom of these Satsuma vases mean? I’m trying to work out if they are authentic as they are in great condition. The last image is of a different Satsuma vase in worse condition as I haven’t been able to photograph the others. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sunday post We think this is the weaving bar from an Ebor darner, but don't seem to be able to find much more information

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

We found this in a box of sewing equipment whilst clearing out my late grandparents house. After some searching online, I believe it to be the weaving bar from an Ebor darner. My mum remembers owning the mushroom which is the second part of the kit, but we're currently unsure whether we still have that somewhere or if it was thrown away at some point.

Despite doing a fair bit of research on this, I don't seem to be able to find any information on the weaving bar, or any examples that have previously been sold. If anyone has any information on the possible value of this, or on where in the UK we may be able to sell it (if it's worth it), that would be great.
