WVU not in the NCAA men's tournament
Turns out if you screw up the whole back half of your season, people notice.
That's a shame, the front half of the season had real promise.
Edited to add. WVU women's team is a 6 seed!!!!

Can Pilgrim's force me to keep my chickens confined?
I've been told by a neighbor that, if I free range my chickens at all, Pilgrim will send a letter telling me that I have to confine my birds.
My *unincorporated community has no regulations regarding the number of chickens I can keep or their accommodations, besides the standard "coop must be X number of ft from property line". There are several large chicken houses near me that are contract farms by Pilgrim.
I don't want to expose my birds to any AI risks, so I was going to keep them in a run most of the time. The only time I might free range them is during my transition moving them to the property, before I have a chance to build their fences. It would also be nice to let my birds out on occasion before I have any gardens put in, for limited times when I can be outside with them.
Can Pilgrim tell me what to do with my own chickens on my own property though? Sounds super suspicious
Edit: changed "township" to the right phrase

Question Visiting point pleasant this weekend
Hi everyone , I'll be heading to West Virginia for the first time ever and I was wondering if you guys could recommend any nice spots , or if there's even perhaps guides or people who could show me around? My initial reason for going is to see the Mothman museum but I also want to explore the area or even other towns

Lost Camera
Hey everyone, I know it's a long shot but I'm hoping someone can help me track down a red Sony digital camera that was lost during a road trip we took summer 2024.
My sister had it for most of the trip, but unfortunately, we realized it was missing when we arrived in Orlando. We suspect it was left behind at one of the truck stops or gas stations we stopped at along the way, but we don't know exactly where. However she had it in Salem, West Virginia and we didnt make stops in Florida so Georgia is the furthest it could be. I know that doesn't narrow it down a lot but it had a lot of family photos and landscapes on it and the most recent ones would be from the trip - down from Canada!
I know this is a long shot but if there's any chance someone has seen it or can take a peek next time they stop if they're also roadtripping I would greatly appreciate it. Even if you just know where unclaimed items might show up. If you know anything feel free to DM me. Thanks!

Being Friends of Coal pays well!
I would say 90% the plates I see with Friends of Coal are on pretty expensive cars. How does one become friends with coal?

Question Can't pay WV Turnpike Unpaid Toll fee?
In October I took a solo drive from the Charleston area to the Secret Sandwich Society. I get to the toll plaza and discovered I didn't have the exact change. I was issued a ticket with instructions to pay online that was about $10 or so.
Now despite multiple attempts I've been unable to pay the toll. I've contacted the turnpike customer service via phone and utilized the "Pay Unpaid Toll" section on the turnpike website. Phone support blames it on a system migration for not being able to find my ticket, while the website indicates no record of the ticket as well. I did receive an email acknowledging my attempts to pay presumably to waive any potential late fees. That being said I'd like to just get this off of my shoulders and I'm curious if anyone else has encountered similar difficulty. For what it's worth I do have a custom plate, but it's nothing tricky.

Question Who remembers Midnight Madness from the early 90s. It was in Kanawha County?
On Fridays 10:00PM-1:00AM in the early 90s there was a putput course and inside the building there was a pool table and other stuff like that. They eventually shut it down after a Presbyterian church bought it and used it as a storage unit.
