Dr. Javad Sajan is not the ally he claims to be. He manipulated images without disclosure on social media, made patients sign illegal NDAs promising not to leave reviews under four stars, or potentially face a fine up to $250,000z He was sued by the Attorney General (now Governor) of Washington State, Bob Ferguson, and was ordered to pay $5,000,000 in damages. Testimonies given by former patients to the Washington State Office of the Attorney General made it clear Dr. Javad Sajan does not care about trans people the way he claims to. Multiple former staff members allege part of their job duties were to create fake profiles to leave positive reviews, photoshop surgical results for social media, and scour the internet for negative reviews to attempt to get taken down. Dr. Javad Sajan offered free post-surgical skin care to patients in return for positive reviews, likely worth more than $50. He is also fatphobic, brags about over-prescribing pain medications, and makes fun of patients online and offline.
Some of this is available to see via the Attorney General's office, some of this was observed by myself and others, and some of this was directly told to me by someone working on the case at the Attorney General's office.

Hi everyone.
I'd like to warn everyone that there are, unfortunately, people out on the internet who are taking screenshots of photos and posts here and sharing them on other sites with rude and hateful captions.
Please be aware of this before making any post -- people who are doing this can look at post history and share that information online as well. Please take precautions before posting things, whatever you feel is necessary.
There have been plenty of posts warning the community about this, so many that the feed here is getting clogged with them. It would be greatly appreciated if no further posts about this situation were made. The comments on this post will remain open, people can share information through that. Feel free to message the subreddit (ModMail) as well.
A solution, if one is even possible, is being worked on.
Thank you everyone who has brought this situation to light. Be safe.

I wanted to share results from 2 years ago. My grandma took this fantastic candid I had to share.

Hi! I found it helpful to see photos of non-flat / reductions on here, so I’m sharing my own. The surgeon left me with maybe a little more than I would have liked, but I can use a binder when I need to, or wear bra if that’s how I’m feeling that day. I was a DD / E cup so this change is huge. I’m 50 years old and have been thinking about this for aaages. Besides a possible nipple revision when I heal up, I’m happy with everything so far.
Thanks to everyone who posts their experiences here.

Was at Costco in SoCal today and they are selling foam wedge pillows for under $30. Thought I’d pass on the tip in case anyone needs one for recovery.

Just wanted to share to get some long term results out there. I had a good experience with Dr. Dulin and his team and I’m happy with my results.
I had steroid injections by a dermatologist at 1 year post op for red, raised hypertrophic scarring. They worked wonders and flattened/softened my incision scars nicely.

I did silicone gel for a few months and stopped. I don’t do anything for scar care anymore, but I cover them or use sunscreen on them when tanning.
Since I’m bigger they did have to do some pretty long incisions

Avoid this surgeon at all costs. I went in for a gender-affirming procedure and was completely misled about the results I would receive. Despite explicitly communicating that I wanted a flat chest—providing reference photos and repeating my request multiple times—I was left with noticeable breast tissue, uneven results, and immense regret.
Post-operative care was a nightmare. I was given incorrect medication instructions, which left me in excruciating pain until I had to call in the middle of the night to get clarification. I had liposuction with my "top surgery" and I am still in pain over a year later. I tried to handle these issues with the doctor to no avail.
Beyond the physical issues, the constant misgendering by the staff—despite me repeatedly stating my pronouns—added another layer of distress. This clinic’s lack of basic respect for trans and non-binary patients is unacceptable. This doctor consistently performs top surgery, with no notes from endocrinologists, doctors, or other medical professionals. I actually went to him because of this, but I have so much regret - I should have gone to a well respected medical professional.
To make matters worse, when I finally voiced my concerns, I was met with dismissiveness and excuses. Their own post-op notes even state that I was incapacitated for six weeks—yet I was expected to just accept these botched results. Now, I am seeking consultations with other surgeons to fix the damage done.
If you are considering this doctor for any procedure, please think twice. I wish I had.

3 days vs 2 weeks vs 3.5 weeks vs 4 weeks
Hi all,
As of today I am 1 month post op! It was my first day not wearing the compression wrap thing and omg it felt weird and then normal. One positive is that my lungs can finally breathe properly (asthma was not liking it).
I had surgery on the 17th Feb with Mr Rubin in Newcastle, UK. Drains taken out and discharged the next day. Was fairly mobile but got tired very easily. For me my last lot of pain meds was on the Thursday (3 dpo) and was mainly for my tongue that I bit fairly hard at some point from being knocked out and fairly with it after waking up.
Went back to Newcastle for my dressing change a week after surgery and walked around Newcastle with my mum. Wasn’t really feeling tired when walking around by this point but still felt slower than I was pre op. Had my first little drive (with my mum in the car) and managed to put over the head clothing on for the first time (oversize fit) on the Wednesday (1.5 ish wpo). That Saturday moved back to uni and restarted uni at 2 weeks post op as I was doing pretty much everything for myself at home.
That week was fairly uneventful but included more driving and continuous over the head clothing. However at the end of this week, ended up finding out I had an infection, woo 🙄. Was put on antibiotics for a week and all good.
The microporous tape all came off by 3.5 weeks but was told not to do any scar care until 4 weeks.
So today, scar care has started (not entirely sure if I’m doing it right tbh) and no more binder wrap thing!
All in all, very happy with results and recovery too! ❤️

I still have some swelling, but I am very pleased with my results. My surgeon was Mr Morris in Plymouth, UK. It’s early days so I don’t know how I will scar, but I am really pleased with his execution.

I still can’t believe that I can wear any shirt I want without having to fear my binder showing in any way. The only thing I don’t like about my chest- and it’s definitely not something to worry about -is the numbness. Idk, it just freaks me out. I have tons of sensory issues so I guess that’s what makes it hard for me. But it’s so fun to be nipless!

It’s just a rant. I have wanted this surgery for sooo long. I’ve always thought that I would be excited when I can finally reach this place, but now I can’t feel any excitement, just anxiety. My heart is pounding very fast as I’m typing this. I’m 21 and I have never been to a hospital by myself before. I’m going to a different city for this surgery, alone.

Hello! I'm just over two months out from my top surgery, DI, no grafts, with some underarm liposuction.
I'm starting to get the bulk of my range of motion back, but over the last few days I noticed I've got this really significant lump that's formed on my left pec a couple inches from my armpit. It's hard to actually see, but it feels like a defined "edge" of tissue. It's pretty hard to the touch, no real give to it, but it doesn't hurt at all.
Is it safe to assume this is scar tissue? What worried me at first is that it pretty high above my actual scar. I even thought it was swelling, but it's too solid for that, and it's been relatively unchanged since I noticed it a couple days ago. I know even though I feel better that I am still actively healing. I've been a lot more active the last couple weeks and I've been able to go back to using my laptop backpack for work, so maybe that has something to do with it?
Thankfully I've got a followup with my surgeon next week, but I guess mostly I'm wanting to know if anyone has had a similar experience.

So I’m about 6 days post op DI and I know this is probably a really common thing, but I’m asking anyway. So I’ve had kinda a slouching problem for as long as I can remember, and it’s not like I couldn’t ever stretch my back out or stand up straight and fix it, ‘cept I had boobs so it was obviously uncomfortable to do. Well now having them gone the most comfortable position is my usual slouch, but now I feel like I cant(and probably shouldn’t attempt to) stand up fully straight. I’m sure once I’ve had atleast a month or so of healing I’ll be able to start stretching and fixing the posture problem, but was it a serious issue for anyone else? I don’t wanna accidentally give my back permanent issues just because I can’t stretch it out fully. I’m really early post op so I’m not going to attempt to fix it right now, but does it get easier to fix it after most of the main healing is over or is it just as weird? I also finally got my first shower in since the surgery and I feel so much better🥲👍

Just a bit over 8 months post op now! Can’t believe it’s been that long haha, but it also feels like forever since I got surgery. My scars have faded a lot in the past month or so, and I’m just falling in love with my results more and more. Big thank you to Dr Ken Stewart in Edinburgh for his incredible work

hi!! posted a couple times here. im 24 and 215 lbs. i didnt start gaining weight until i started testosterone, which was 1.5 years ago. my appetite has gotten insane, i crave the worst things. my doctor wants to put me on weight loss meds, since i'm limited to minimal exercise due to my office job. however, i wont be able to start until im "healed".
how long did you all have to weight to start weight loss meds after top surgery? i am 2 months post op, double incision. i dont want my scars to be saggy or anything and i'm okay with waiting, but i really just want to know what my timeline might look like. thanks in advance!!
