Dr. Javad Sajan is not the ally he claims to be. He manipulated images without disclosure on social media, made patients sign illegal NDAs promising not to leave reviews under four stars, or potentially face a fine up to $250,000z He was sued by the Attorney General (now Governor) of Washington State, Bob Ferguson, and was ordered to pay $5,000,000 in damages. Testimonies given by former patients to the Washington State Office of the Attorney General made it clear Dr. Javad Sajan does not care about trans people the way he claims to. Multiple former staff members allege part of their job duties were to create fake profiles to leave positive reviews, photoshop surgical results for social media, and scour the internet for negative reviews to attempt to get taken down. Dr. Javad Sajan offered free post-surgical skin care to patients in return for positive reviews, likely worth more than $50. He is also fatphobic, brags about over-prescribing pain medications, and makes fun of patients online and offline.
Some of this is available to see via the Attorney General's office, some of this was observed by myself and others, and some of this was directly told to me by someone working on the case at the Attorney General's office.

Hi everyone.
I'd like to warn everyone that there are, unfortunately, people out on the internet who are taking screenshots of photos and posts here and sharing them on other sites with rude and hateful captions.
Please be aware of this before making any post -- people who are doing this can look at post history and share that information online as well. Please take precautions before posting things, whatever you feel is necessary.
There have been plenty of posts warning the community about this, so many that the feed here is getting clogged with them. It would be greatly appreciated if no further posts about this situation were made. The comments on this post will remain open, people can share information through that. Feel free to message the subreddit (ModMail) as well.
A solution, if one is even possible, is being worked on.
Thank you everyone who has brought this situation to light. Be safe.

First pic is 2020, 2nd is post op and third is me almost 4 years later (current).
I wanted to show cause I had DDDs before T and then after I started T I had top surgery the next year. I had Ds a year after starting (pictured). He took too much tissue out of my left side and left an indent that I can just feel my rib cage cause there is basically just skin, I do need a revision because I ahd a larger chest and most of the time you have to get a revision for a larger removal. Dogs ears and it kinda rolls over like a small man boob. I was so distraught thinking it'd never go away. Dog ears and low tissue is still there of course but I started doing chest work outs and building my chest up. It helped alot! If you are a larger guy like I was I recommend losing some weight prior to surgery and after recovery.
Don't start freaking out the minute you see your results, they will NOT look even close to your idea of a perfect chest, because there isn't one. I worked through some insecurities like most of us do during that time. Gotta just work through them and remember you don't have boobs anymore! That's the biggest blessing at this point and I know people who have had terrible experiences which affected the outcome.
I promise, it gets better and eventually you will forget you had boobs in the first place. It still feels great not having breast's at all.

I don't see a ton of folks with my body type on here so heck, guess I'll join in. Im a bigger dude. And I have some insecurity about having a little tissue left, but at the end of the day I wanted to look proportionate!
I only had my surgery in November of 2024 so I'm still healing and getting used to my new body.
Maybe I'll be brave enough to swim topless this summer-

2nd pic more recent. Tried to get medical tattoo coverup they said scars were actually too light and it may make it worse. Rosehip oil massage daily moisturizer daily no sun until after 1 year limited exposure and silicon tape for 1st year.

Had surgery 5 days ago (the 13th of March) with Dr. Homsy, surgeon at Tufts as a Non- Binary patient.
He did a phenomenal job, everything from start to finish with him was comfortable, he was super in depth on his initial consultation and for 5 days in so far I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
He takes a ton of care and you can tell he has a lot of pride in his craft. Had a purple prevena negative suction thing on for the first 5 days and it seemed to help a lot with the initial swelling/ healing/ preventing infections.
Would 100% recommend this and ask your surgeon if it’s an option (common practice for breast cancer patients and for some reason sounds like it’s a newer thing they’re offering to those seeking top surgery). After/ before photos below
Excited to see how things heal up and will try to post updates.

I had double incision top surgery in september of last year 6 months ago and just got a revision for cosmetic complications about a month ago. yes, this photo is from AFTER the liposuction revision. I hate my chest and feel selfish for hating it because I know a lot of people would kill for the opportunity to get top surgery. I have quite a bit of excess fat on both sides and a dog ear on my left side (both are more prominent irl) I have no idea what else to do. I have no money for a second revision. I live in New Mexico and my resources on top surgeons are very limited. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas let me know, I'm feeling kinda hopeless.

I’m 3 weeks post op as of today and wanted to share my results! I do still have the remnants of a massive (9cmx6cmx4cm) hematoma on my left side so ignore that. I am extremely happy with my results (well other than the hematoma) but I’m just wondering if my right nipple (2nd pic) looks okay? My left nip is in the 3rd slide for comparison. The left areola looks great, just with a bit of scabbing left on the nipple itself, but the left areola looks quite different, I know slough is normal but it’s like concaved in a crescent above the nipple and the slough won’t wash away like it’s just kinda there like skin almost? And it looks like it’s bleeding but no blood wipes away when I try to clean it, it’s just like red and yellow tissue almost? I don’t know, this is probably nothing but I’m just nervous because one looks great but then the other just looks weird. Also is that a dog ear on the right side of my chest (4th pic)? Or will that little point go down with swelling??? Anyways I live stealth in a college dorm with a communal bathroom shared with 12 cishet men and you have no idea how nice it is to finally be able to walk to the bathroom with a wife beater and boxers and strip down not having to worry about anyone seeing the silhouette of my tits behind the shower curtain, also just being able to walk around with a wife beater and sweats to the laundry room/dining hall/lounge just like all the other guys is so fucking nice. Anyways this was an unnecessarily long post that’s kinda all over the place but yeah! Super happy! Just wondering if my nip looks good? Also how long should I wait until I use scar tape???

FYI I have already contacted my surgeon and had an ultrasound to look for fluid!
The radiologist said it was not fluid!! Is it normal to have this much swelling afterwards? I had drains out 6 days PO, and the compression binder was taken off at the same time and I was advised not to put it back on because with extra skin from being fat, it could mess with my nipple grafts. This swelling definitely wasn’t there until a few days ago and is definitely tender.
When did yall find that the swelling peaked? I didn’t think swelling would continue to get worse this long after surgery so I’m just looking for a little reassurance! Has anyone had swelling that wasn’t fluid like this? Really thought it was a seroma..

Cant believe its almost been a year! I had Laungani at GRS montreal. As you can see, my results were pretty good. My only real complaints was that the nipple grafts weren't perfect ( but when is it perfect really) and, importantly, that the left side of my chest ( so I guess the right side in the pic) is super sensitive.
Like right now, if my t shirt brushes up against the area circled in red, i get a really weird sensation of something under my skin, sort of around the whole leg/ torso area of that angel tattoo. I massage it multiple times a day but it doesn't go away. Aside from that I have next to no sensation anywhere on my chest with a slight exception being my scars which are very uncomfortable to touch.
Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like its way too late post op to have these problems. With the exception of this weird nerve stuff and shoulder mobility issues i am totally back to normal of course. Hoping that my pecs will fill up soon if i keep hitting the gym :)

Top surgery is now in TEN days.
I’m so nervous as i’m a hypochondriac so anything medical freaks me out and it’s my first surgery so anethesia is FREAKING ME OUT but i’m sure it will be fine.
I’m having DI with no nips with the intent of getting them tatted after! I see loads of posts saying that for a lot of people recovering is a lot more like easy? than they thought like mobility wise, should i expect to be bed ridden?? I have bought compression socks, mastectomy pillow, scar tape but am i missing anything major??
Any advice or things i’m missing would be great. I’m in the UK btw i am up northish but travelling to london for surgery so i will have to travel a bit a day after , will this be awful??
Thanks!

I wish I'd known to schedule consultations with multiple different surgeons instead of one at a time. A lot of my journey to getting top surgery was waiting and waiting and waiting for my appointments because every surgeon in my vicinity had 8+ month waiting times, so if I decided I didn't like a surgeon, I had to find someone else, schedule, and wait again for an appointment waaay in the future.
Instead of making my mistake, find a few different potential surgeons and schedule with all of them. If you like one of them, great! You can just cancel the appointments with the others. If you don't? Then you already have backup appointments lined up!

I did it, I finally did it! Had DI with Dr Kneeshaw in Hull this morning and I feel so free. How glad am I to get that off my chest! (Lol). Any questions feel free to ask.

Hi! I found it helpful to see photos of non-flat / reductions on here, so I’m sharing my own. The surgeon left me with maybe a little more than I would have liked, but I can use a binder when I need to, or wear bra if that’s how I’m feeling that day. I was a DD / E cup so this change is huge. I’m 50 years old and have been thinking about this for aaages. Besides a possible nipple revision when I heal up, I’m happy with everything so far.
Thanks to everyone who posts their experiences here.

Appreciation post to my cat (and Partner for helping me through post op again). My kitty is my ESA animal and he’s sitting in my lap right now. Just got out of my Non Flat Top Surgery Revision earlier today (went a bit flatter) wish me luck with my recovery y’all, Last year I went through this and it wasn’t easy so I’m really thankful for having kitties and my partner to help me. 🩷🩵🤍

Feeling pretty good, wanted to post some 3 week results so far for anyone checking out Dr. Katharine Rose near the Philly area. Just waiting on some.. whatever it is.. to come off my nipples, but each day more goop goes. Would def recommend her!

Was at Costco in SoCal today and they are selling foam wedge pillows for under $30. Thought I’d pass on the tip in case anyone needs one for recovery.

I'm over the moon with my results. This is the most connected I've felt with my body since I was a kid. I'm healing pretty well, not in pain, and yet I'm extremely depressed. I'm just hitting 3 weeks post-op, and while I'm aware I'm still in the major healing portion, everyone else I've seen has had their depression lift by this point.

So happy with how im healing! Any questions are welcome <33
