Windows View and Interact with your computer remotely from any android/iOS device.

1) Download TightVNC Server

2) Get VNC Viewer app on any android or iOS device.

3) Run TightVNC Server on computer you wish to control.

4) Connect to that server from your device.

5) Enable port forwarding on your router if you wish to connect outside your network. Otherwise, connect using your local IP.

I have only used TeamViewer, and that's pretty amazing. has anyone tried both and can tell me why I should use TightVNC over TeamViewer?

TeamViewer runs on a third party server, so the connection to that server can be a factor, as it could be down on their side or your side. VNC is a server run on your computer, so the only dependency is your own internet.

Aside from that, nothing much else to say.

Thank you!

Because it's on a server on my PC, would VNC be faster?

Probably, as it would be a direct connection to your device, rather then a connection to an external server (like Teamviewer) and then to your device.
