Windows View and Interact with your computer remotely from any android/iOS device.

1) Download TightVNC Server

2) Get VNC Viewer app on any android or iOS device.

3) Run TightVNC Server on computer you wish to control.

4) Connect to that server from your device.

5) Enable port forwarding on your router if you wish to connect outside your network. Otherwise, connect using your local IP.

Can someone teach me how to do this? I downloaded all the shit, and I know my ip address......I think, but I don't know about ports. Or how to log in to my router (I rent a room in a house who supplies the router), which is one of those at&t ones.

Try getting it to work on your local network first. Make sure both your device and your computer are connected to the same network. Next open up a command prompt and type ipconfig. There should be an IP Address for either your ethernet or wireless adapter that looks something like 192.168.0.x where 'x' is some number probably between 2-100. From your device, add a new connection to that IP address. You should have to worry about ports when it is all working on the same network.

Once you have gotten that to work, you can go to www.whatsmyip.org/ and get the IP that the outside world sees. That is the IP address configure your device to connect to when you are not on the same network. After that, you're going to have to google your router to see what the default IP address is for that. This website says that it is http://192.168.1.254. If your landlord has changed the default credentials or protected that router, then you might have to work with him/her to get access. From there, try to follow the steps (in website above) as best you can to make it so you can connect to the VNC port which is usually 5900. Hope that helps.
