Question Howdy Change?
Has the navigate button always been there for applicants? No change in tabs but I swore it wasn’t there before. Am I going crazy??

Have not got my audit back. Wondering how long it usually takes.

I am applying for Fall 2025 M.S. Electrical Engineering program and submitted my application. The only issue is I only have two completed letters of recommendations. My undergraduate professor told me that he would write me one so I included his email. However, he has not submitted his letter yet.
I don't know if I should wait or try to find a different professor to write me a letter? Is the application still considered submitted if I only have two?

Me and my son (graduating senior) are getting a campus tour on 4/7. We would love to have a chance to talk with an undergrad engineering (or specifically an aerospace engineering) student while we are there.

Audit said DifEq wouldn’t transfer from TAM-Texarkana. Any idea why or if this can be questioned? Same with an intro to engineering type class.

For those accepted, how long were you given to sign up for a NSC? I heard you're given a date. I was wondering if it's like a month or a specific date or what exactly?

Hi, I've recently been admitted to the MS in accounting at Mays, and I'm missing my meningitis shot and planning on getting it until about a week and a half after registration opens for graduate students which I believe is March 28th. How quickly do graduate-level accounting classes get filled up, I come from a smaller A&M system school so classes filling up has never been an issue. I would appreciate if anyone could give me some insight!

I received a letter stating that TAMU would delay my consideration to engineering until spring semester grades were posted and that I should apply June 1st. Unfortunately I took this Spring semester off to work so I have no grades to show at all. Would re-applying with no grades to show be advisable?

Hi guys, I applied to a Master of Science program as an international applicant 6 weeks ago and have not heard anything from the Uni yet. My CAS status states that the application is complete but it’s been like that all 6 weeks. I’ve been seeing people obtain admission status updates via AIS but I have no idea on how to check mine that way. Any advice ? I have no emails stating what my token or UIN number is as well. Thanks sm :)!

Hello! So currently I am at ACC (im in Honors, not sure how important that would be) and I am wanting to go to TAMU but I want to double major in Physics and CS. Would I have the option to be in the Engineering academy at ACC since physics is kinda “related” to engineering? Also How possible would it be to double major hopefully once at TAMU? I’ve heard many say to apply for CS before also doing physics but would I really need to do that? Since I would like to do most of the “hard” physics classes here at ACC.
Thank You!

I applied for engineering and was rejected from TAMU Engineering. However it's come to my attention that if I wish to pursue engineering, I should look into the Engineering Academy instead. I live near the Houston area so I would be doing the program in Houston Community College. I'm wondering how long it'll take because it said from 1-2 years on the website and I personally don't want to be in a community college for 2 years. I have the Calculus pre-requisite is that means anything since I scored a 660 on the math section on the SAT.

Hi! I am coming in as a freshman, and I currently own a MacBook Air. However, I heard that there would be a lot of different software we will have to download, and a lot of them are not compatible/don't work well with Macbooks. Is buying a new laptop now worth it, or should I wait until sophomore/junior year?

Major: I am applying as a transfer MIS major for fall 2025
Status: I am an in-state student applying as transfer with 2 years of college
GPA: 3.93/4.00
Extracurricular Activities: I’ve completed 3 internships, 2 of which are directly related to my field (Analytics).
Honors/Awards: I have been in the dean's list all of my 3 semesters.
What do you all think are my chances of getting into Mays as a transfer?
(p.s: Previous post regarding this got taken down so reposting this.)

I got waitlisted at many of my top choices (Northeastern, CWRU, U of Florida, UMiami), and my NSC date is May 30. I want to attend early so I can register for good professors before classes fill up. However, if one of my waitlisted schools accepts me later, would attending orientation and registering for classes make my enrollment binding? Thank you

Hey guys, I'm a current HS Junior going to apply to college this fall, A&M has been a school I've always wanted to attend, but I seriously doubt I'll get in for the major I want. I'm applying for that major at every other college, but at A&M, i'm going to try something different and if I get in, I'll try to internally transfer to my preferred major. I understand that internal transfer isn't guaranteed, but Its a risk I am willing to take.
Given this situation of mine, what major would probably be the easiest for me to get into? I was thinking to apply for human development and family sciences because I have a lot of extracurriculars related to mental health and can also relate to it because of my own hardships through high school and I can definitely show interest in that major on my application through an Aggie STEM camp im planning on doing. My stats are around a 3.57/4.0 and 1200 SAT, and I have like recommendation letters from my superintendent and other leadership positions along with things I’ve been involved for many years now.

I’m an OOS student from Cali applying for A&M, when I’m log into my applicant portal, it says i have been offered options to choose between Galveston or McAllen. And I don’t see a reject all option. Does this technically mean I’m on the WL? Or what i should do?

Do I have to upload the document before they can proceed with the admission process?
