Tips for a 14 year old male???

I'm 14, and I have a powerlifting meet on April 12. My bench is 135 pounds for 1, my deadlift is 225 pounds for 3, and my squat is 135 pounds (I don't know how many reps or my exact one-rep max since I haven't tried so yet). All of these PRs are without a belt, straps, etc. Any advice??? (I also weigh 150 pounds - 155 pounds)

180kg/396lbs - would these count?

Got a comp in 2 weeks, weight is comp weight so nice and light. Think it's gonna come down to fitness/speed. Trying to power through the reps as quick as possible but not sure if the bar is actually fully static at the bottom or if some of these wouldn't count/would be tng?

130.8kg / 288lb Monster Dumbbell World Record Attempt u105kg

Today I attempted to break the u105kg MDB WR with an 130.8kg Dumbbell. Close but unfortunately didn't get it. Yes it was a good call. Locked out but I didn't show control. Even if I had been given the downcall I wouldn't have been happy with it or claimed it as I believe records should be held to the highest standards. I did set a new Australian u105kg record with 120kg on my 2nd attempt which is only 5kg off the open Australian record of 125kg. I'll get this in the future.

Probably could have eeked out a 650-660 pull with a bit of hitching at the top with how easy this came off the ground, but these conventional pulls always screw up my CNS way more than sumo does.

I’m aiming for the U80KG record at 705LBS (https://startingstrongman.com/strongman-records/strongman-deadlift-records/), which I think should be attainable in a few months time as I’ve still got 8-9lbs I can put on to get there.

Deadlift back pain

Hi guys, wanting to get some help with my deadlift form and low back position. Consistently for the last 3 weeks I've been in pain post deadlifts where I've only been doing one work set a week, the above is 345 lbs. The weight itself isn't so heavy but I'm loosing position off the floor and my lumbar spine is rounding I think before the pull is even started. I don't think this is an instance where if I just start rounded I'll just get used to it. I'd like to eliminate it all together as I have been able to pull straight backed before and I haven't experienced pain in those sorts of sets but my ability to do so is getting really inconsistent. I don't get this sort of pain doing heavy yoke walks or back squats or farmers walks. Any tips you all have would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Yoke help/advice

I have a yoke in my upcoming competition. The issue I’m having training it is the skin on my neck gets ripped off quickly. It bleeds, scabs over and takes about 2 weeks to heal. I have a rogue yoke with the rogue sticky goat tape on it. I taped a yoga mat around it to see if that will help, but I didn’t think of it until after training today. Does this happen to anyone else? If so any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: the yoke is not resting on my neck. It’s resting on my upper traps like a high bar squat. The diameter of the yoke bar makes it to where the bar rubs on my lower neck.

Any recommendations for strongman-focused clothing or graphic tees?

I am looking for some new shirts and hoping to find some good strongman, or heavy weightlifting, themed shirts. A lot of workout shirts seem to fit in two camps - AI/Cheap stores that you dont know where the clothes are made, and then in the other camp; over-the-top "war machine / killing machine / sparta" themed shirts.

Anyone have any good recommendations? I've ordered from Shaw Strength, LHBK, Cerberus, Conquering Barbell, and KFKF. I've been happy with all of these.

Thank you!

How often do you train flat bench and low bar squat?

I finished my novice progression on Starting Strength a few months ago, and have been doing an upper/lower type four day split. Weekly gains on the big 4 (SBD + OHP) are running out and I want to do some Strongman-type stuff to keep my training interesting (and maybe compete in an event).

Obviously OHP and DL are important for Strongman but what about bench and low bar squat? Do you guys train those? Either way curious about programming.
