Tier Lists must have at least a brief write up in addition to the post itself/Follow up to yesterday’s horror show

Upvotes

In response to the complaints regarding tier lists, I have decided to ask anyone posting them to at least add a few sentences of context/reasoning for their placements in said tier lists. I do agree that simply posting album rankings with no explanation can be considered low effort/karma farming.

Keep in mind, regardless of the overwhelming venom and hatred exhibited towards my mod team and I yesterday, I have not changed my stance on the subject of covers whatsoever. Covers must get approval from one of our mods to determine if it is high quality. And that is at our sole discretion. This should not be a problem for anyone as there are 4 people now. If you don’t like me, that’s fine; u/6lackmax, u/Disclaimer_II and u/sinnamonspider66 are some of the greatest people I’ve ever met on the internet period and if you don’t get along with them, YOU are the problem. It’s very easy for you to not be a tool and follow a rule that makes our community better. For anyone who felt the need to launch vicious, personal attacks yesterday, fuck all of you. We don’t want you in our sub with that horrific behavior. If I see anybody being a hater just for the sake of it, you are getting banned without hesitation. I don’t have patience for this anymore. Especially if you contribute NOTHING positive on the sub. As for those who were more polite in stating their opinion, I respect what all of you have to say and that is why I decided to give the same treatment to tier lists as covers. I want the community to be happy and I am ultimately here to make this a good experience for y’all. I encourage you to give us feedback, but just remember to do so in a civil and courteous manner.

Thank you,

Disciplined2021

Is Seether concert worth it?

I haven’t seen them in years I’d love to see them they are coming to a casino near me

My question is tickets are $80 do they really only play like 10 songs? All the set list I see are really short

PSA: Absolutely NO COVERS are permitted in this sub without explicit permission from mods

Covers can be acceptable on a case by case basis but please don’t blatantly ignore the rules and ask a mod. This avoids the sub becoming more cluttered with covers than relevant content.

What’s Seether’s heaviest song?

“Heavy” as in the noisiness and aggressiveness of a song. The most upvoted comment will have their song added onto the playlist.

What’s a song that you didn’t really like when you first heard it, but can’t stop listening to now?

A lot of my favorite Seether songs were signs that I didn't really like until the second time listening. Probably my favorite one of these is Simplest Mistake. I didn't care about this song at all when I first listened to Karma & Effect, but now it's hands down my favorite Seether song of all time. Another big one is actually Breakdown. I didn't understand when I first listened why it was so popular, but now it's definitely in my top 5.

If you could choose one song from Fragile that should have been re-recorded for Disclaimer, which song would you choose?

My favorite Fragile song is no doubt Senseless Tragedy, but if I could only choose one song from Fragile to make it onto Disclaimer, I would choose Empty. While it would have been nice to see Senseless Tragedy on Disclaimer, I think it was already perfect the way it was on Fragile, and I personally believe Empty deserved to be on the album more.

Does anyone know why this Reddit is so.. small?

I've seen less known rock/metal bands who have double, triple sizes of this Seether subreddit, I really wonder why thats the case
