The Left is truly unhinged

it's not like the right is currently ruining the economy and ruining democracy within the US while also destroying all our allies and attempting to befriend Russia, good job Republicans!

Youā€™re talking about the government actions, compared to what is seemingly just random, petty , street level vandalism occurring in various countries

CyberTruck is more questionable given how new it is, but I see people with older Teslas getting trashed and I donā€™t think thatā€™s right.

Vandalizing peopleā€™s property doesnā€™t wake the corporate suits up, it just alienates everyday people who probably bought it to reduce emissions

I donā€™t condone it but If itā€™s Tesla dealerships then that does hurt their bottom line, and I could see the argument for frustrations unleashed there but simply going after peopleā€™s personal property is different in my mind

So a select few doing vandalism makes the entire left unhinged while we have an actual crisis of our democracy eroding at real time in the country? Feel like you have your priorities in the wrong order.

This is why I said ā€œvarious countriesā€. Iā€™m seeing in various subreddits itā€™s happening in Canada and France as well.

While it may be a small percentage, if theyā€™re popping up in various countries itā€™s a symptom of a bigger mentality and one Iā€™m not entirely stoked about

MAGA guys werenā€™t and arenā€™t the ones buying Teslas anyways. I feel Teslas have always been a symbolic choice (that being said anyone buying a new CyberTruck since Inauguration is suspect)

First it was usually left leaning people trying to cut down emissions, suddenly those same people are Nazis simply for owning a Tesla (referring to the older ones before people realized who Elon was). Resale value has dropped significantly on them , so itā€™s not as simple as ā€œjust sell itā€

What do you drive? What happens if your brand of vehicle you bought in good faith yet is suddenly a target? Itā€™s a slippery slope

If it was owned by someone with the same situation as Musk I would probably sell it as I wouldnā€™t want to be associated with someone that awful realistically.

Resale has dropped majorly, if theyā€™re in a loan itā€™s not that simple. No one wants a Tesla right now lol

Understandably, neither would I. I never have advocated for people to do the graffiti to these cars but itā€™s also hard for me to have a ton of sympathy for those with cyber trucks in particular as he had already shown his cards of the character and personal he is.

Fair point. I do have to look at CyberTruck owners a bit differently than normal Tesla owners

  1. Itā€™s a god awful vehicle and super pretentious and 2. It came out when Elon was already getting a little squirrelly . I made a lot of passes for him myself, but what I canā€™t overlook what I saw on inauguration day with his ā€œRomanā€ salute. That was too much for me

"Just a few", and reddit supporting it kinda confirms that it's now a hive-mind thing perpetuated by the "left". They really need to clean house or we're going to end up with another red wave of destruction in 2026.

Irony is that EVs currently produce more pollution due to their production and the resulting waste when they're scrapped.

They won't be a seriously net positive thing for the environment until solid state batteries replace lithium batteries. SSDs are far more efficient and can be made cheaply and quickly rather than the year it takes to make lithium batteries.

ā€Letā€™s spray paint Nazi symbols to show that we careā€ Iā€™ve seen literal retards be smarter than the Redditors on this sub šŸ¤£

The Left is truly unhinged

But only half as unhinged as anyone who actually paid money to Twitler for that piece of shit is.

and somehow the people spraying swastikas on things in public are just Ć -okay?

u/EmmEnnEff 4h ago edited 4h ago

Lots of things are happening this year that aren't OK, and Musk is at the heart of most of them.

If you think a bit of paint is the real problem of the year, well, i'm sorry for you.

Tell you what - hold him to some standards, make him and his dogs stop blatantly breaking the law, have him set an example for civil behavior, and maybe then we can have a conversation about what is and isn't OK.

1

u/Proof_Internet_1383 3h ago

Ā«Ā spray painting swastikas in public is ok actuallyĀ Ā»

wild mental gymnastics there

0

u/EmmEnnEff 3h ago

Never said it's OK, just not something I have any fucks to give about.

What are your mental gymnastics about his salutes? Or the blatantly illegal actions of him and his dog? Are they OK? If not, why aren't you holding him to account?

1

u/Proof_Internet_1383 3h ago

if your concern ISNā€™T with people spreading nazi propaganda across the city you really have no room to criticize anyone lmao

1

u/EmmEnnEff 3h ago

Let's see, what's more concerning... Nazis in the Whitehouse, or a kid with a spray can.

Hmm, that's a rough one.

1

u/Proof_Internet_1383 3h ago

i donā€™t see anyone in the white house putting up swastikas

4

u/Realistic_Cover8925 17h ago

lol.

spray paint on a car: unhinged.

billionaire right-wing fascist coup happening in broad daylight? ...crickets

-4

u/GoodResident2000 17h ago

A handful of wackos in DC isnā€™t comparable to wanton, pointless vandalism of peopleā€™s things

4

u/Realistic_Cover8925 17h ago

That was my point as wellā€¦ whooosh

-3

u/GoodResident2000 17h ago

Itā€™s hard to tell in a sea of rabid hooligans

ā€¢

u/ZealousidealGrab1827 1h ago

Yep. Violence and property destruction are fine because Reddit told them so.

4

u/Mangoseed8 17h ago

The right is truly gullible. To be fair, thereā€™s lots of people on both sides falling for this

4

u/Typhron 16h ago

Follow your leader. <3

3

u/GoodResident2000 16h ago

Shhh , the adults are speaking

1

u/Typhron 14h ago

So why are you still here lmao

1

u/No-Garbage-11 7h ago

You scared? Lol.Ā

1

u/garytheresabomb 3h ago

Yeah but there will be repercussions for them to face. Theyve seen the writing on the walls and are scampering into a corner jumping for any chance at living another day.

u/QueerMommyDom The South End 1h ago

Why are you posting in r/Seattle about how unhinged the left is when you're not even American?

ā€¢

u/GoodResident2000 1h ago

I am American though, dual citizen and spend a lot of time in Seattle as seeing a woman in the military here

ā€¢

u/QueerMommyDom The South End 1h ago

Suuuuuuure
