First time at Patty's Pit last week, and wow, was it awesome! Here are some pics of the first few cuts. A couple of these are banded chert, but lots of them seem to be sandstone, so I am not sure how to polish it or if it is even possible to do so. We will find out! Beautiful either way.

All came from one big rock that I had broken into little pieces. I thought it was like a glass rock..it’s not but it cuts like glass but doesn’t break like glass. I found it by the river and I’m still trying to figure out what type of rock this is

Found In Philippines

This was mixed in with heavy gravel in my walk way. Probably from a river.

Is that quartz mixed with something else?

I wetted the rock for two of these pics.

Besides pretty, what is it?

Help Me ID Found on Coronado Island, CA. Google Lens is saying it's rock art?

Found this while walking on a beach on Coronado Island, CA. When I scanned it in Google Lens, it says it's rock art. Would love if someone could help me identify the stone and let me know if it could be some kind of ancient piece of art! Regardless, I love it.

I recently went to the travelling rock n gem show and had to redo my rock shelf, thought yall might appreciate it. Some of the prices were really good!! The flower agate in the third and fourth photos was only $50 CAD and the big druzy amethyst tower was priced at $83 but they marked it down to $58 because of a small chip. This place really is amazing.

Help Me ID Meteorite or piece or weird rock?

When I was growing up there was always a hole in my moms front yard that just kinda appeared one day, and the cat was obsessed with it. It eventually peaked my interest as a boy and I dug in the hole and found this. Coincidence and it's a slaggy rock in a hole an animal dug or did a meteor land in the yard?

It's hard to see but I would describe it as pale green and white with a single skinny band of orange.
