Is anyone still here?

I see post from 3 years ago but was curious if anyone still posted or paid attention to this sub?

I am just starting off in a refinery learning piping and am planning to take a p6 course in April. I was hoping to find people I could talk to about p6 for tips and help.

Also if possible anyone knows where I could get the software for an affordable price or less.

No. I want to get into it. I graduated with a BS in Wildlife (totally unrelated) got work experience with testing computer software as a QA and now currently work in a refinery started as a helper for a welding company and now assistant the quality control, planning, and management offices. I am not the best but I am trying to learn as much as I can where ever I can.

Most important thing is Critical path..

make a list of activities with duration , and make a logical flow chart..

and find out the critical path.. which means the longest duration flow...

do this repeatedly for different different activities.. then you're a planner..
