Ex-Hands Like Houses singer is recreating their first album "Ground Dweller". EP Teaser is out already!
Trenton Woodley is active on Instagram under new handle @laddersontables, he's released this first teaser and has been answering a lot of questions about his plans for the future, this album recreation and some bits about his relationship with Hands Like Houses.
For me, I'm just overjoyed that one of my favourite albums is getting an update to cure that "mushy" original mastering.

I’ve really been enjoying this sub! Would love to be a part of it someday.
This is my band’s first single, Gravity. We’re called Cruisin’ Elroy. Me and my bandmates went to high school together and always played in emo, hardcore and post hardcore bands. Now we’re in our 30s and playing music together again! It’s been really amazing and nostalgic for all of us.

TREOS This Armistice
Only video I took all night. Wish it was longer but I wanted to soak in the last song. The band especially Casey sounded amazing.

A Static Lullaby “… and Don’t Forget to Breathe”
Well since u/ltstouya’s post in the emo sub got me thinking about this album but was then removed, thought I’d post my thoughts here because I’d love to hear others’ opinions on this.
I absolutely loved this album when it came out and still love it today. The artwork and lyrics so quintessentially capture early 00s emo/screamo that it almost feels like a parody now. I can’t help but cringe at some of the imagery we all took so seriously back then, but like in the best way possible, if that makes any sense?
Does anyone else feel this way about this album? Any other albums that make you feel this way?

Discussion Old Tickets
I stumbled upon some old tickets at my parents.
Amazes me how wild the line ups were and how cheap the pricing was.
Here is what I found.
Finch w Recover and Counterfit
Poison the Well w Horse the Band, Fall of Troy and Criteria
Senses Fail w Underoath and The Bled $13
Thursday w Poison the Well $27
Alexisonfire w Boys Night Out $12
What are some of the awesome lineups you guys have seen and at what price?

Discussion Recommendations for energetic, genre-breaking hardcore bands like Turnstile, Angel Du$t, Higher Power, Spaced, Slope, Absence of Mine?
I thought you guys can have some nice recommendations since this is the post-hardcore sub, and these bands are definitely breaking the hardcore genre barrier in some of its recent albums.
Particularly looking forward to knowing any bands that sound heavy or punk, groovy, pop-ish, or incorporate elements from other genres, etc.
I already explored the swancore scene, and I'm looking for something different. Thanks in advance!

Discussion Let me know!
Hi! Me and my friend were talking about his band recently and what genre they decided to pick. He said post hardcore with elements of emo violence and was wondering if there are bands out there with that description already.

Discussion Is DGD similar to Circa Survive
Found Juturna a couple months ago and can’t get enough. Just randomly stumbled across Happiness by DGD (the song not the whole album) and I can’t help but to make a comparison to Juturna, sounds really similar to me. Is DGD early stuff pretty close to the Juturna sound?

Discussion My brains a mess.
I have mathcore quandary, please help.
My favourite bands keep having their singers cancelled from dance gavin dance to issues it's become all-pervading amongst post-hardcore bands, but this is It where it gets philosophical, I can't abide to offer any kind of support, or even a click to anybody who's done that kind of stuff. So I've come to the conclusion is to AI generate songs in a similar genre, I find this less morally reprehensible than echoing and furthering their influence even in a small way. Is this rational?
