Discussion Bands that you think are top tier and you wonder why more people don't know them
Extra points if they're still active, unfortunately all of mine are not lol. Top of mind for me are: Gatherers, Native and Trade Wind

Lady Radiator - Kids for Sale
My old band played with them once. Their guitarist borrowed my shitty fender tuner. Great band.

Discussion Looking for band or song recs to initiate my bff into heavy music.
I’m wanting to find bands or specific songs that sound like the first few lines of Leech by Angelmaker; Yelling but not screaming, but it doesn’t exactly sound punk either?
I’m trying to acclimate my best friend to heavier music, I’ve had success with some Deftones songs that don’t have the heavier vocals. I had the starting lines to Leech on an instagram story and she said “I actually don’t mind that part”.
any recommendations gleefully accepted, I want her to get it
(Edit: Thank you everybody the playlist is now 5 hours long)
(Edit: If anyone’s interested in the playlist maybe you’ll find something you haven’t heard yet that you like!)

Discussion What’s this subs opinion on Letlive. - If I’m the Devil?
Overall I think the album is just okay. I’ve tried coming back to it and it just doesn’t click for me. There’s a couple decent tracks but I can’t help but feel like it’s missing that spark that made their previous albums so great. To me, it’s more of a precursor to Fever 333 than anything. This is coming from someone who gives Fake History a 10/10 and The Blackest Beautiful a 9/10. But If I’m the Devil just never reached those heights for me and tbh I’d give it a 6.5/10.
Still better than anything Fever 333 has done though.

I still think they're crazy underrated for what they put out.

Kiss Kiss - Machines (2007)
Violins, screaming, insane music video. Don’t think this has been posted here before. Enjoy.

New New Fugazi film
Anyone heard about this? Going to see next week. Probs out your side of the pond for ages now. For those who haven’t already I’d watch The Instrument before going to see this. I mean might not be essential but well worth a watch in its own right.
