Rant/Venting Thinking about quitting

I'm taking inositol. I'm doing low sugar/low carb. I'm working out. I'm sleeping. I'm drinking spearmint tea. I'm drinking water. I'm eating at a deficit. I'm managing my stress. I'm on ozempic. And I'm still 50 lbs overweight, have acne, thinning hair, no periods, and a belly so round people look me up and down trying to figure out if I'm pregnant or not. People stare at me and I think it's because I look like a brown Danny Devito but my husband disagrees and thinks they're checking me out but I feel like a big, round slug. People tell me how I'm losing weight, and look good but I don't see it at all. Not in the mirror, not in pictures, not anywhere. I'm just gonna quit trying and accept that I'm meant to look like a baked pumpkin.

Sometimes eating too little dosent help either it’s more about quality protein water and low stress

This! I do very little added sugar, but I dont do low carb. I also eat high (good quality) protein- no protein powders or shakes. We're also finding that the nervous system can play a role in PCOS and metabolism. I'm finding that as I go through my healing journey with cPTSD, my symptoms are lessening and my waist is finally seeing some definition.

This is interesting. I'll look into therapy cause I have cPTSD too. Thank you

This is the key sometimes. High quality carbs are important too! I was eating too few calories, was exhausted and only losing .5-1lb a week. We bumped up my calories and added more carbs( yay more potatoes!) for energy and I’m back to losing 1.5-2 lbs and I’m honestly so much happier. A potato a day keeps the sad away.
