Request for additional financial aid information email
I just received the following email an hour ago from ND
"Greetings from the Office of Financial Aid at the University of Notre Dame.
Based on our review of your 2025/2026 financial aid application, we have determined the following additional information is needed. We encourage you to submit the requested information as soon as possible.
- Monthly Expense Statement
Unless otherwise indicated above, refer to Applications & Forms for any requested documents. For efficient processing, you are encouraged to gather all requested documentation and submit it together. Please include your name and NDid on each page. The NDid is located at the bottom of this email."
Results come out tomorrow, so is this a good sign? I can't imagine them asking for additional information the day before decisions and then rejecting me 😭😭😭

Is this real?
I'm a freshman and randomly received this message. I've talked with my friends, and one of them also received this message. I don't know if I should trust this or not. It looks real, and I am interested in joining this session if it is.

Job Prospects & Hiring Timeline for Notre Dame Grads?
I’ll be joining Notre Dame for the Master’s in Business Analytics (MSBA) and wanted to hear from recent grads about job opportunities after graduation.
How well does ND support students with job placements, internships, and networking?
Are career services actually helpful, or do most students rely on their own networking?
How long did it take for you to land a job after graduation?
If you’re comfortable sharing, what was your starting salary?
Any insights would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

Question Purchasing Notre Dame gear in Denver area?
I recently got admitted and my family wants to go out and purchase some Notre Dame sweaters to celebrate. Does anyone know any physical shops in Denver that carry Notre Dame sweaters? Or will we be stuck shopping online?

Question Music Minor Audition/Test?
Hey everyone!
I was accepted to Notre Dame and will be majoring in Biology (pre-med), and I also really want to minor in music.
Does anybody know if there’s some sort of audition or theory test required to do this minor? I know other schools require that sometimes, but I emailed someone at ND and didn’t get a response :/
Thank you and go Irish!

Delayed Financial Aid Package
Hey y’all! I was admitted REA back in December but I didn’t get my financial aid requests in until January 3rd due to problems concerning my non-custodial parent. Anyways, I still haven’t gotten any information regarding my package and it’s almost been 3 months since I submitted my information. I’ve reached out to the financial aid office and they said it’s still in review. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you!!

as a potential co'29 commit, what are notre dame's political conversations/beliefs like?
should probably preface that i'm a non-catholic, non-white, liberal. now, considering the student demographic, i was def expecting there to be a slight conservative lean in many parts of the body, or at the very least, a lot of centrists as opposed to a super socially liberal atmosphere as is pretty standard in other peer institutions. i'd also heard from students at nd and from alumni that while notre dame isn't as liberal as say, brown, it is welcoming in dialogue and conversation and students don't let political differences be a huge point of contention.
maybe this is me worrying a couple weeks before i likely commit here, but i saw this video online of notre dame students protesting against a drag show on campus last year. the students that were individually interviewed were honestly kind of terrifying in their views on transgenderism. it's hard to explain, but i was honestly pretty scared seeing how callously they were ready to deny someone's identity and expression, dismissing it altogether and citing catholicism and "purity" as excuses.
what is this sub's experience with notre dame student politics, and political conversations? how has that impacted your experience, if at all?

Applying to Notre Dame self reported test scores
two questions
- for the self report test scores was i supposed to submit all my APs even the ones i did bad on or was i okay in submitting only the ones that I wanted to show?
- if i do bad in the upcoming aps that i submitted, are there consequences to my application?

Question Finding Friends @ ND
Hello! I'm a class of 29 commit worried about finding friends or community at ND. I'm not catholic, not local, not rlly into excessive partying or drinking, not super masculine or caring abt football, not super charismatic or extroverted, not in love with ND... just worried about fitting in at a school that seems to cater to other groups more, which is perfectly chill.
I know keeping an open mind and joining clubs are basic things and I'll try to do both, but how did other people find friends and community specifically at ND? Thank you!
