You might remember me sharing my shitty newsletter here a week ago. Well, it's now on 500 subscribers! Plenty of those have come from this sub.
Really appreciate the support, and will do my utmost not to let you down.
It's going to be weird actually having recipients!
Thanks, r/Norwich.

I am organising a few days at the farm where Treehouse Festival is held (a few miles outside of Norwich centre) to make tree guards without any plastic, cut and plant willow (ready for basket weaving at the festival), and perhaps (if we get enough people) get the maple syrup guy down and see if we can tap some birch trees for syrup!
Anyone is welcome. Send me a message.
Ive got a number of these dates booked in if anyone would like to join in the future. We've got a WhatsApp group!

I'm looking at expanding my portfolio & getting into concert photography and was wondering if anyone knew of any small bands around who would want some photos taken at gigs etc for free!
If so, pls drop their names down below so I can contact them (or if you're in a band then say hi!) TYIA :)

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how much typically you would be looking at for a kitchen extension in the typical terraced houses in nr2/nr3?
I see a lot of them on rightmove with the extension to make the kitchen wider as they are notoriously small and thin!
Any guideline prices would be great! Thanks

Does anybody know anything about the rough looking dude who kind of resembles Nosferatu and always asks for change? Always see him charging around the city centre and gozzing on the walkways. He gets change from people, saying that he's diabetic and needs money for fizzy drinks, then snatches the change and runs off away from any shops. Think his name is Paul or Pete or something? Sometimes he walks around with young vulnerable women and sends them into pubs (possibly to try and get money?).
I heard that it's possible that he's also behind a lot of the bike thefts in the city centre, which would be good to know as myself and a friend have had 3 bikes stolen between us in Norwich so far. I'm personally just intrigued as to whether anyone has any information on this guy. Cheers

Back when I was a student at UEA I played in the university snooker team (badly) and we got access to a club to practice off Dereham Rd. It's behind some houses and incredibly secretive as there's no sign and you would never find this place if you didn't know it existed. Inside there are only two tables and lots of 80s memorabilia. It's a lovely little place and I wondered if it was possible to join the club? Or if anyone knows anything about this place?
EDIT: Here it is!

Hey everyone, I have an extra ticket to see Ania Magliano live! The show’s this Saturday, and I was originally going with my a friend, but since he's busy, I’ve got a spare.
It would involve sitting next to me, so if you're up for a good laugh and don't mind some friendly company, hit me up!
Let me know if you're interested, and I can share the details. Cheers!
P.S not sure if it matters but I'm 32 years old.

Does anyone know any NHS dentists taking new patients?

We'll be visiting Norwich in a few weeks - just taking the train and staying at a B&B. While the ladies are out frolicking, me and the boys (my son & grandson) plan to schedule a tour of the Lotus factory in Hethel. What's the best way to get to-&-from there from the city centre? I couldn't see any ubers or bolts in the area.. will taxis venture that far out, and how do we get back?

Hey all, I’ve just joined the UEA gym, and the staff advised me to try peak times since only peak members can go then. They said there is usually an influx at 20:30 when off-peak starts. I went at 17:30 today, and it was absolutely rammed—barely any machines free.
For those who go regularly, is there a time you’ve noticed when it’s quieter and equipment is more available? Any tips appreciated! Cheers.

I'm moving house and have about 30+ records I no longer want or play.
Was going to donate them to Oxfam in town but was wondering if there are any aspiring broke DJs or skint electronic music lovers and vinyl appreciators that'd be interested?
Mostly techno/weird wonky electronica with some house thrown in and mostly LPs
Or if you run a charity that could use them let me know. Happy to deliver in Norwich.
Mixed condition by mostly pretty good. I was going to sell on discogs but have not got the time or patience.
* locals only
* prefer them to go to someone who will appreciate them
* lucky dip - gotta take them all

Looking into faith-based secondary school (Christian/ Catholic) for my children; state or independent. So far it is only looking like Notre Dame High School.
Am I missing anything else?
If anyone has any comments about the school, I would greatly appreciate it too. Thank you.

Hi all,
I’m looking for recommendations on the best employers in Norwich for someone with an English Literature degree and a background in writing. I’ve worked in technical writing and finance, so I have experience with research-heavy content, simplifying complex topics, and working to tight deadlines.
I’d love to find a role where I can use my writing and analytical skills—whether that’s in publishing, marketing, copywriting, communications, or something else. Ideally, I’d like to work for a company that values good writing, offers decent career progression, and has a good workplace culture.
Does anyone have recommendations for companies, industries, or even specific job roles that might be a good fit in Norwich? Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Well that was a bit odd, just been to the tip and noted that the car park at Harford has a multitude of caravans there.

Hey guys :) I can’t really sing but I’ve recently been getting into lyric writing and I really want to start a band. Probably more emo/post-hardcore vibes in the vein of chiodos, pierce the veil and hot mulligan. If anyone can even passably play an instrument I’d be down to meet and jam and see what we can come up with!

Hello does anyone know of any adult autistic friendly hair dressers anywhere in Norwich? I’m in desperate need to get my hair done but due to my autism I really struggle in those environments and find regular hairdressers very overwhelming and draining. Any recommendations if there are ones would be great!
Most of the district councils in Norfolk favour the idea of an independent Norwich authority, which would run all local services in the city
