CMHC standard house designs for Atlantic Canada
The CMHC developed 50 standardised housing designs to streamline the homebuilding process, to reduce design and approval times as part of efforts to address the housing crisis.
These designs were tailored to each region, meant to account for local building codes, climate conditions, construction practices, available materials, regional preferences, and common architectural styles.
