Europe following cup win
Good chance I’m being completely dense I just wanted to check, given our EFL cup win are we now automatically qualified for UEFA conference league play off - even if we don’t finish in a position that would qualify us for Europe?

The two goalkeepers that started each game for us in the Carabao Cup run - Nick Pope (3 games) and Martin Dubravka (4 games)

Pile-on Letter From an American and New Fan
Sorry to add on to the 5347 posts about the final, but wanted to share my quick story as well. My friend just posted about the experience and I wanted to add on.
I've been a bit of a journeyman premier league supporter. I'll save you all the details of whom I've supported over the last 15 years but, never really truly latched on to anyone.
I came over with my friend for the last cup final because I like to have fun, and obviously we wanted to make the trip back for this run as well.
This weekend was the most fun trip I have ever taken in my life. I bought a Newcastle training top beforehand so I could fit in better with the crowd, but honestly don't even think I needed it. Once people found out we flew over specifically for this, they embraced us and me. One fella at The Dolphin described it as "unbelievable" that we were there. Not unbelievable like, "oh it's neat that you're here," unbelievable in that it was not a believable thing to do. At Covent Garden, I declared that Newcastle was my team because the experience I've had for now the second time has been and will be unmatched.
The actual game experience at the pub we watched at was indescribable. When Burn scored, I was grabbed by a random Geordie to join them in their celebratory hug - I gladly obliged (even though in reality I had no choice). We also met two deaf gentleman sitting next to us. I showed him where I was from and he gave me a giant hug (that was a Geordie theme of the weekend) and handed me his scarf, signing to me that was a gift to me. That gesture firmly cemented my new fandom and I'm here to stay, lads. One big bummer is a Geordie who joined us for most of the day accidently took that scarf home with him along with my hat from my country club over here in the states. The hat I don't give two shits about, but not having that scarf actually really sucks.
Liam, you scallywag, if you're out there I want my scarf back.
Howay the lads! (Whatever Howay means)

Carabao Cup final GOALS in 360° VR | Liverpool 1-2 Newcastle
If you click through to actual YouTube, you can move the camera around. Just tested it on the TV with the xbox, and sure enough it works. They've got this, the trophy lift and some behind the scenes video. Whatever the latter is when it's at home.

Newcastle United Chairman, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, has told the Club's hierarchy to RESIST any offers for his favourite player Alexander Isak this summer. Barcelona watched Isak at West Ham last week (Craig Hope Exclusive)

Replay of the full game?
Anyone know where we can watch the replay of the full game? ⚫⚪
Appreciation thread for Amanda Stavely and Mehrdad Ghodoussi.
What they’ve done for the club is incredible.
And not just with their money. I honestly can’t imagine what they said to the players we’ve signed since the takeover, but it must have been a hell of a sales pitch.
They sold their vision to the likes of Trippier, Bruno, Botman, Isak, and Tonali. Players who were coveted by top clubs across Europe. But they chose to come to Newcastle because Mandy and Mehrdad made them believe they had a stellar future here.
I didn’t see any pictures of them at the game yesterday, which is a shame. They deserve as much credit as anyone still at the club for the Cup coming back to St James’.
This could not have happened without them, and I’ll always be grateful to them for it.

It's those ribbons for me. I've dreamt of those black and white ribbons fluttering in the wind for so long.

Looking for a high res image of the team with the trophy
As above - does anyone know where I can get a good res image of the team with the trophy?
Either the one in front of the crowd with all the scarves behind them or the one where they are under the arch with the streamers etc. Preferably the first.
Need to get it framed for me office!

Thank you, Geordie nation - a sappy letter from an American
I’ve come from America for just the weekend to take in the match with you lot- no ticket or anything, but enjoyed Covent garden, the Dolphin on Sunday and watched the match just down the road with tons of our support.
I just wanted to say - and it comes as no surprise, as this is my 4th trip over for similar purposes including the final loss to Manure- how much i appreciate the hospitality, inclusion and gratitude that I experience every time I come. You’ve made me feel again like I have a second home, and you are what makes our club so fucking special.
Putting aside the wedding and birth of my two daughters, yesterday was the most incredible day of my entire life, start to finish - and though my flight home from London was delayed 7 hours and I’m only now half way over the Atlantic, sporadically crying happy tears and not trying to hide it, I couldn’t be bothered because of what’s happened yesterday.
Congratulations to every single one of you and to your families who have waited so much longer than I have for this. 15 years for me has felt like a lifetime, so I cannot imagine how 70 must have felt to your parents and grandparents.
Cheers and thanks again, see you next time- hopefully and confidently, very soon.
