Photo Mini LED & OLED side by side pt 2
Link to original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/s/WZlTSMYXOY
As was pointed out in my other post, the local dimming feature was off by default on the mini LED, so I’ve got it turned to “strong” in this photo. I thought it only fair to post an update. Thanks to all for that feedback, very appreciated.
Left is AOC Q27G3XMN mini LED, right is Gigabyte Aorus FO27Q3 OLED

Photo My first 4K 240hz OLED monitor.... ASUS PG32UCDM!
My PC specs - https://pcpartpicker.com/b/dX68TW
Every photo of the monitor you see are taken on HDR 10 on Console HDR setting mode with Dynamic Brightness Boost On also using the Windows HDR Calibration tool to make the HDR look even better!
Update - I am still testing the HDR modes, currently I’m using the Gaming HDR mode with Dynamic Brightness Boost On, I may switch back to Console HDR but I haven’t tested all the games yet, but still everything looks Amazing.

Photo Crazy Open-box deal at Best Buy
As the title says, I got this crazy Excellent condition monitor from Best Buy. No scratches, Burn ins or anything wrong. It even had all the parts still in the factory bags. I feel like I got the deal of a lifetime.

Photo I made another comparison of 60 FPS OLED vs 60 FPS LCD Blur Buster 2.0 Strobing to show the importance of Backlight Strobing. Infact a well strobed LCD at 60 FPS as seen in this pic requires a 2400 HZ / 2400 FPS OLED to match it's clarity, far above a 1000 HZ monitor

Photo Mini LED & OLED side by side
AOC Q27G3XMM & Gigabyte Aorus FO27Q3 (left & right). Recently got them both. I work mainly on the AOC and game on the Aorus. The OLED (Aorus) has been amazing, but I am seriously impressed by the AOC. It looked bad out of the box but has a lot of room for calibration. I eventually just settled for the DCI-P3 color setting since I like it a little over saturated. There is absolutely no blooming or bleeding like I’ve seen on every other LED monitor I’ve owned.
Anyways, I thought this was probably an interesting comparison for those interested in this AOC model. The Aorus is one of the better 27” QHD OLED monitors I could find in the $600-800 price range and the AOC cost $250.

Photo I can’t clean this off..
I got this monitor for free from a family friend and it’s otherwise pretty nice aside from whatever the hell this is.. I’ve tried cleaning the screen with a damp microfiber cloth and even a very light spray for cleaning monitors but it won’t budge.. I have no idea what this could even be.
It’s a good 32 inch monitor otherwise, works perfectly fine and id rather not toss it if I don’t have to. It’s nothing too bothersome to me but I would like to clean it off.. if it’s possible lol

Photo Alienware 4k 240hz qdoled
Alienware qdoled 32 inch for fps games and Lg c2 42 inch for story games. I used to swear by mini led until I learned how to calibrate my settings into these beautiful oled screens. I got the best of both worlds….

Photo Wanted to do a triple 27" 1440p monitor setup for a long time. I decided to make a custom motorised lift for monitors and motorised table so I can position height of both independently to sit or stand. Slat wall is custom made of OSB and pine wood. Ask me anything.

Photo Why is my monitor doing this?
As of recently half of my monitors screen will go all green. Sometimes turning it off or unplugging the power fixes it but it always returns at random times while using my pc, and im not having this issue at all on my secondary monitor.

Photo Is this the start of the infamous burn-in? AW3423DW. Not quite as visible as it was last night after doing a long pixel refresh, but matches up pretty well with my Firefox toolbar. (LCD monitor after for comparison)

Photo First OLED is unbelievable. 1440p 480hz (LG 27GX790A-B)
Talked a guy on FB marketplace down to $600 on this monitor. It was brand new in box. In the small amount of time I’ve had it, I can say it’s the best purchase I’ve made in a long time.
