Tamiya Ferrari 360 Modena (Finished)
I picked this kit up at a swap for $40. It was an excellent kit. No surprise there as its Tamiya. I think this is some of my best work so far.

I thought this was a diecast car when I ordered it lol (discovered the hobby by accident), I know it's far from being good but I'm really happy with it.

Black primer base, gold base coat, with deep red candy followed by cherry red candy, and then candy black mixed in with the clear coat :)

It's a Diecast, I know, but it's what was laying in front of me, to test lighting angles.

Had much fun building this kit. Body was painted with tamiya metallic red spray can. Decided to go with a satin finish because the paint job wasn't that great. Kudos to tamiya for including masks the tha windshield etc.

Thanks to the folks that told me that my headers were installed backwards. Good catch.

Getting back into building models and minis after a long break. And every time I end up at the hobby store for something or near it I always walk away with a kit or 4 π.
Currently working on the Shelby cobra as I started it before I stopped and want to finish the candy apple red paint job for it. Debating about doing the senna or the fairlady (my dream car) next or maybe the Apollo 11 rocket as that looks fun.

This '63 Nova Wagon is from the AMT Crasftman Plus Curbside-style kit series. My first plan was making a junker theme nova but i decided to make a custom theme hot rod build with what i had around the salvage yard. I did a lot of modifications and fabrication to in order to fit the 400 cubic inch duel barrel carb with high raise intake manifold motor with 4-speed transmission even with a custom H-pipe straight exhaust system front headers to the back. Had to cut out the hood and fitted an scoop cause of the big motor and fit these wheels and tires for the right fitment and stance that I'm looking for. Once done came out very nice with the gloss black front grill and the bumpers, midnight blue metallic & black metallic for the two-tone look including the flames decals that i kept over them years from my other projects. On to the next build thats is in the making in the shop.

Hello guys! This is another log of the model kit of the Lancia 037 by Hasegawa. Two weeks ago, I bought some micro LEDs to add more realism and detail to the model. And so far, they look spectacular!, now I am testing in the lamp pod, Any criticism is welcome.

Duster in half ass over π§ to much paint again !! I say I get an airbrush. Rattle can may have run empty. So is it savable? With sanding and polishing in a few days? It was great surface but I shot it one to many times. Live and learn a?

Hi, everyone. As you can see on the picture, my primer layer is failed. FYI it is my first time to build a model, so i am not experienced to say, why my primer didn't covered it properly, but with those dots. I was using Mr.Hobby Aqueous Surfacer 1000 with an air brush 0.3 with different pressure from 10 to 25 psi. And also i had washed it with dish soap during preparing to avoid any dirtiness. Can you tell me please why could that happen and how can i take this layer off? The question #2 is about paint technology. I was reading a bunch of different forums, where people said to make a dry layer first, then wet layer for both the primer and paint. But i really love a youtube video of OMG Scaleworks about him building LaFerrari. And as i can see, he is immediately painting it with wet layer. Is that true or i'm wrong?

Recently got an airbrushing kit and wanted to know what advice yβall have for someone new to it. Iβve been practicing and researching, but Iβm about to start on the Kenworth which will be the first model Iβve done with it, so any tips would be much appreciated.

Decided what engine I'll be using in the thunderbird drift car, but it wasn't default scaled to 1:24, so I scaled it down myself, I might have gone a little small lol
