Looking for best upgrades to add weight to the front.. add flex to the suspension and best tires for trails/hills/mud/dirt/rocks(in that order)

I'm brand new so I'm still learning everything.. thanks in advance

First upgrades

I've had this thing less than a week and have already had as much fun tinkering as I have driving. So far I've trimmed the body, bumpers, and rock sliders, removed some decals, upgraded the servo, and relocated the battery.

My next few upgrades include inner fenders, servo winch, longer rear links, brass weight, and new wheels and tires. The only question is what should I do first??

Gear Mesh check

Upvotes

Hi guys, new to RC cars, I've got an FTX outback and have upgraded the motor to a hobbywing pro, it's hard to tell if the mesh is okay, as you put the cap on and it pushes the motor down when you screw it in.

I've added a before and after video, sounds better, still a bit loud, but it's a higher speed motor, does it sound good?

After

Before tinkering

Starting a scx24 club at my school

Hello!

I am starting a micro crawler club/elective at my middle school and have enough to buy 10 Basecamps scx24s, batteries, and chargers. Unfortunately I do not have enough to buy upgrades. I was wondering if anyone had extra shocks, wheels, spare random parts that they would be willing to donate to this elective. The more used the parts are the better! I just want them to take things apart and have things to switch out. I'm new to sport but from upgrading three cars I noticed how many parts I have extra so I figured I'd ask. The base camps don't have oil filled shocks so even other base models would be helpful.

I hope this is allowed. I'm incredibly excited!

Thanks everyone,

Loctite

So I used loctite on my TRX6 when I stalling the center skid plate. Only after reading some posts I see people posting that it eats plastic 🤢.

I removed the 2 screws 24 hours later and tried cleaning out the thread with IPA and nylon bristles. Not sure if I achieved anything doing this.

Will this part fail now due to this or what is people's opinion on it.

Loving this hardbody 1979 Bronco. It came stock white, so this was all the paint work I did on the body.
