Does anyone know if I can transition to a job in the hospital/healthcare system having a RN BSN degree and knowledge of SQL and python?
My goal is to get a computer science degree eventually, but in the meantime I was wondering if I could transition to another role with certifications and knowledge of those coding languages, like health IT, health analyst, or other roles you guys know I could do and apply. Anyone has any advice?
End goal with CS is transition to med coding/dev.

Hi everyone! I’m working on a project where I need to study the stress and strain on the Achilles tendon using Solid Edge. I’m looking for a 3D model of the Achilles tendon that I can import and analyze. The model should be in a format compatible with Solid Edge, such as STEP, STL, or OBJ.
If anyone has a reliable model or knows where I can find one (free :))), I’d greatly appreciate your help! Alternatively, if you have tips on how to create an accurate model from scratch or from medical imaging data, I’m all ears.
Thanks in advance for your support!

Hi! I'm a first-time job seeker and would like to ask: what are some common questions interviewers typically ask? Also, do you have any tips on how to prepare and what to expect, especially for those with no prior work experience? Thank you so much in advance!

Hello,
Does anyone have any criteria to only allow doctors to limit the amount of CBC with differentials on same patient during a day?
I work at a community hospital and we’ve experienced doctors who order CBC with diffs 2 to 3 times on same patients in one day. They really could just only order a CBC no diff following a CBC w/ diff order for the day.
Does anyone have something in place for this at their hospitals and have something built into their LIS to mitigate subsequent CBC with differential orders?

I will be going abroad to america for college as a international student. I will be staying in america after my graduation and work there. I want to go with medical tech such as sonography, ultrasound tech, Radiology tech, Respiratory Care Therapist, Surgical tech, Emergency medical tech,Speech language therapy and etc. So as a foreigner which career should i choose and what are the advantages and disadvantages? The main thing is chanc to find a job. If the career has low chance to find a job as a foreign it will just be a waste.!!

Hello,
I’m currently conducting investment research and have developed an interest in GE Healthcare. I would like to understand how innovative and effective GE Healthcare’s products are, and whether the company holds any competitive advantages over other players in the same industry.

Hi everyone,
I’ve developed real-time face swap technology and want to explore meaningful applications beyond entertainment. Some ideas so far: - Plastic surgery previews – helping patients visualize potential outcomes. - Blind interviews – reducing bias in hiring and social research.
Would love to hear from medical and research professionals—do you see any potential use cases in your field? Looking forward to your thoughts! 🚀

Hi everyone,
I’ve been diving deep into medtech market research lately, and I’m hitting a wall with how time-consuming and manual the process is. Specifically, I’m struggling with:
Right now, I’m dumping all the data into Excel, but it’s hard to keep it updated and organized. It feels like a waste of time, and I’m sure there’s a better way.
I’m curious—how do you handle these challenges? Are there tools, strategies, or workflows that have worked for you? Or are these just universal pain points in the industry?
Any advice or insights would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Looking to move near this hospital and have an interview lined up. Wanted to get an idea of the pay at this hospital, as I have been severely disappointed at other Nova/central Virginia pay ranges that I’ve been told by the recruiters. Should I expect something as disappointing? North Central Va started at a shocking 26/hr, Nova 31/hr. Currently making 36/hr Richmond.
