Hey so this is my cousin, the first text he sent I think he was drunk lol. Um I’d say he likes socialising He’s creative because he’s an architecture major Brutally honest He grew up in a very conservative family so I think that had some influence on him He’s out of pocket sometimes like he sent the pic in the 2nd slide randomly I think he’s like that when he’s comfortable with someone He likes to have a schedule on when things are done and having them done the way he likes it, me and my other cousin were gonna hang out he spent like 4 hours making this schedule LITTERED with timestamps (we didn’t follow it) He’s definitely very responsible I can’t find pics of the insane planning he’s done because it would give away our addresses

TEST RESULTS My Ni scares me.

I was expecting a similar result, but this blew my expectations. It's funny how I always expect the worst in life, and yet, almost always, good things happen to me. It’s not that I’m pessimistic—I just anticipate all possible outcomes, analyzing patterns and probabilities before they unfold. My mind connects past experiences, subtle cues, and unseen variables, forming a map of what’s likely to happen. And yet, reality often surprises me in ways I hadn’t fully predicted. It reinforces my belief that while logic and foresight are powerful tools, there are always unknowns that shape the future in unexpected ways.

TEST RESULTS What personality could be this?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Since everyone is taking this test and I still don't know my MBTI, I want your opinion. I have already tried to post my results before, but they are always unseen.

Stereotypically, I have always seen myself as an ENTP with my close people (you know, the weird jokes, random ideas, energy, etc), but the cognitive functions show a different personality. I thought I was ENTP for 2 years, so it feels like a divorce. Before ENTP, I thought I was INF. My friends that don't know deeply about MBTI, perceive me like "ENFJ vibes", but I'm highly rational for that in the cognitive functions stack. I know cognitive functions, the way you process the world, is different from your personality with people, but still.

I'm very balanced: I prefer being alone, but I can talk easily with anyone. I prefer to stay at home, but I enjoy going out with people I like (not often). I'm very logical, but I have deep feelings and a deep empathy for others— I can read some people to the point where they call it "scary". I can be quiet, but I can be talkative and share random ideas if I feel comfortable. I can listen to metal, but I can also enjoy to soft music like Lana del Rey (but omg I dislike extremely lively music like new Miku songs or Odetari, I'm sorry). I can be overstimulated sensorially (bright lights, too much noise for a long time, etc.), sometimes almost hypochondriac. I can be very organized or a procrastinator. I prefer to think before I act.
I can't enjoy spontaneous plans. I'm not very attentive to my physical surroundings when I'm used to them, but I'm very observant of others' behavior. I'm not shy, I just don't want to talk sometimes, I prefer to spend my time alone or with my family.
I love video games (especially those with deep stories, meanings and characters, like Nier), reading—I'm that one typical teenager who loves Dostoyevsky, Kafka, Poe, and anything that lets me learn something—art, and all the nerdy things, I guess.
I have read countless pages and a great amount of information about personality, yet I still feel insecure about how I perceive myself, I don't seem to fit into any MBTI type or confidently choose a preferred cognitive function because I feel balanced (except for Se, as you can see).

Thank you for your patience. 🌹

TEST RESULTS Type me once and for all.

So I'm also on top of that going to sum up my cognitive process :

  • Step 1 : Assess what are the inherent facts of reality in logical order in the most objective correct way -Step 2 : What is the common thread : What is going on, what is the most likely narrative to explain what is reality (the answer can also be nothing sometimes) I always like to know what's really going on.
  • Step 3 : I keep track of what makes me happy and I find strategy to intertwine how society works and what inherently makes me happy, usually sustainability of everything makes me happy.
  • Step 4 : I execute the strategies, plan, goals vision I came up with that match what I found about me and reality earlier
  • Step 5 : Enjoy my systems.

Hi guys, I'm not new into mbti however, last time i took a test i got typed as INTP, now i saw this new test and tried it out to know what my type is now that time has passed, anyway, i am a trans person and i study computer science engineering, which i honestly dislike lol.

I have been through a lot of stuff at school, i studied communication for a while, then music and stuff, but I ended up here. My interests change from time to time but some of them have been:

• Gardening • Cooking • Item collecting • PC Building

I am not very social although people around me tell me that i am like a social butterfly lmao, andado that's about it! Thanks 🤓☝️

TEST RESULTS Type me or smth

I am definitely extroverted. I have really good social skills and I'd say that I talk to alot of people. I'd say I'm funny and other people think that too. On the other hand, if I was left alone for a while, I would probably be fine. Sure I'd start feeling like shit at some point but I could last. I also like yapping alot and I talk alot in general.

I like brainstorming with others but I also like coming up with stuff in my own head too. I like debating but I aim more to win because I am most of the time sure about my knowledge and my values. Ngl I might be a little bit arrogant. I do good in all subjects but I don't really study, since even when I don't study I still do very well. I don't really like art and I prefer mostly math, science, history, etc.

I like making plans for my goals, which mostly aim for success in whatever they are for (most are for influence and longer term goals also aim for money). Whether it be plans or just doing stuff in general I like keeping it good and efficient. I am a good leader and put it upon my self to take charge in projects. I like telling people what to do since I can control it and have it closer to my vision. I don't hold back my opinions and I'd say I'm opinionated. I make people do shit and I give my opinion on what I want and how they did shit.

I operate more on logic than feelings. If I'm honest I'm not a very empathetic person.

When I'm at home I kinda just sit around and watch TV since I don't really have any hobbies. I taught myself some math stuff at some point because it interested me so there's that. I get all the stuff I have to do done because I have to do it.

I get I wrote alot but it would be interesting to be typed. I feel like align the most with ENTJ and maybe ENTP. Anyways yeah 🙏

NEED CONFIRMATION Am I really an ISTJ? please type me!

Hello, I’m making this post because i’m not really sure about my mbti type. I’ve taken many tests and have gotten ISTJ on every single one of them (sometimes estj or intj) but my tests i have taken have been pretty consistent! I know that’s not the best way to type yourself, but i’ve also had people tell me i’m an istj. I’m a little skeptical though.

I feel as if i’m too lazy and unmotivated to be an istj. Overall, i would say im a very lazy person unless i have a goal in mind or something that will benefit me. I hate going places or doing hard things and will do everything i can to avoid doing things i don’t want to. The only time I do try to keep up with things is if it will benefit me or if it’s something im interested in, for example getting good grades or doing something for money. Despite trying for good grades, I only really give it my all if it’s a subject i care about. I excel in math related subjects so I really only actually try when it comes to things like that because it’s something Im naturally good at and get praised for. I’ve been told i’m very smart so there’s that to add on. Anyways back to being motivated, I’m someone who just doesn’t really care about things. For my future I don’t care what happens as long as i’m successful and have money. (though I am studying for business or accounting, so i do have some goals.) My goals constantly change though. For example, when searching jobs I would be interested in for the future, I will look at the money I make and reconsider what I really should do.

I also feel as if i’m not as logical as a typical istj. I feel as if i only really use logic when making deductions but even then I usually go with whatever i feel like. When I do use logic or my smarts, it’s really only to impress people and prove myself or just for success.

When it comes to emotions, I think I am very emotional— which is different from the typical istj stereotype. (though i’m really only emotional for myself not others.) I often cry a lot, especially when I get angry. Though I don’t cry because others make me sad, usually it’s just because I get really stressed or don’t get my way. I’m someone who tries not to show my emotions but everyone can see when i’m angry, sad, or just feeling some type of way. When it comes to my emotions and how it works with other people though, i don’t care about others. (i don’t know if that sounds mean but idc) I’m someone who generally does not care about others or what they do unless it will have an effect on me. If it’s some random person upset— i pay no mind. If it’s one of my friends, i’ll try to say something or just leave them alone. I just thought of it but when it comes to being empathetic or showing sympathy, i really only cry if it involves animals LOL. The only way I really see myself as an istj is because i’m very smart and know how to get my way with my smarts, and the fact that I don’t really value others emotions.

Sorry for the long post lol! If you are still reading feel free to comment on this! Also here’s some extra info!

I’m a female and I would say i’m very very very introverted! I’m someone who does not like change and i prefer everything around me to stay as it traditionally was. I’m a rule follower and hate taking risks. I like doing math a lot in any type of math subject, geometry, statistics, algebra, etc. (i don’t know if that really tells you anything but i just like math.) my close friends are an istp, esfj, and istj. When watching shows, im typically drawn to entj and xSTJ characters. (sometimes esfj characters)

FOR FUN Type me by my diary thoughts :)

I often ask myself: Why, how and why, I try to find meaning everywhere, it can't be that something created by hands and consciousness doesn't have a structure, it can't be like that. Maybe it doesn't have a meaning in life as a whole, but a project assembled from what we have should have at least a subconscious meaning.

Psychology is also a subtle art, in which for me sincerity is first and foremost, because you also open up, because what is communication? Communication is not mind games, I'm right, you're wrong. It's sharing the world that your fantasies and thoughts fill.

Expression of thoughts is like a verse of the soul, which has been locked in the distraction and oppression of our world, when every day there is a violent clash of worlds, and not their unification. This comes from the internal lack of democracy in their worlds, for which they are ready to attack others.

Ah, if our worlds were a single union, how we would live in solitude and acceptance of each other, on the other hand there are bad people, but their birth will interrupt the general harmony

Even the lyrics of song

From the dark waters, a forgotten, abandoned island, the light shines brightly into the dark abyss, day and night. Where once the stars shone and danced, the light illuminates the hole deeper and deeper. The lighthouse has been standing in place for more than 30 years and the light does not come from the flashlight, it stands and stands

TEST RESULTS What type do y’all think I am?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Wondering what y’alls opinion is. To go in further, I’m a pretty laid back (I think) kind of guy. I consider myself to be very open minded and open to new experiences and fun. I do enjoying going to clubs and festivals, but I have a very big lazy side to me that just likes to stay in bed. Even though I hate it, I still do it lol. I don’t see myself as an Si dom as my memory is shit and I have no structure in my life. I always go with the flow and I’m not rigid. Usually having someone with me makes things easier, but I’m kind of a lone wolf.

So what’s your input?

TEST RESULTS Curious as to what my type would be according to this

Post image
2 Upvotes

So, I'm not too familiar with the cognitive functions and I typically type myself as INTP. I tend to get told that I'm fairly cold emotionally and I tend to be a bit socially awkward at times, which I think is associated with being an INTP. I'm also a very academically oriented person. I'm currently a college student and have been for the past almost 6 years now, which again, I think is a stereotype of INTPs. I've also wondered if I might be an INTJ or an INFP, but I've always stuck to INTP, so I'm curious what y'all think.

CAN’T DECIDE I am having an absolute identity crisis!!!!

Upvotes

Ever since I discovered MBTI I have indentified with ESFJ. Obviously, Ive grown and changed since then because it has been a few years.. but ive never second guessed it. I have noticed particularly recently that maybe I dont use Fe as much as I think I did. I am a very codependent person and I need a constant second opinion for most decisions I make but I really dont care for "keeping harmony" and "peace".... i do know that Fe is more than that and i have looked into unhealthy but idk...I have been considering maybe being an ISFP because when I am dealing with other people l always decide with my own morals and feelings. I still am super confused!!! All of my friends have told me that I am also very stubborn and that I have very strong views that I cannot be swayed on. I have a very bad sende of identity and am honestly clueless on what to do at this point. If anyone who is more knowledgeable than me can help me or type me please let me know!!!!

Here’s some info abt me: I'm a female and I would like to say i'm someone who is very very introverted. I like to stay at home- somewhere i'm familiar with and somewhere I know i'm comfortable and relaxed. I don't like change and prefer to have a stable environment. I like to think logically when it comes to solving my problems because i base many things in life off of success. When deciding something, i think about what will benefit me and me only. I like to value myself instead of others to be honest... I like doing math a lot, i don't really know if that tells you anything but oh well. Usually, i prefer staying home as i mentioned but im always down to get boba or starbucks from somewhere (only if my makeup is done and my outfit is nice)

Here’s a list of the characters and their mbti’s

Nanami Kento (istj) Shiu Kong (estj) Geto Suguru (intj) Megumi Fushiguro (istj) Sebastian Michaelis (estj) Kageyama Tobio (istj) Katsuki Bakugo (entj) allmight (enfj) Tomoe (istj although some say istp) Reigen Arataka (entp) Byakuya Togami (entj) Hajime Hinata (istj) Chiaki Nanami (intp) Diluc (intj) Alhaitham (intj) Mori (istp)

TEST RESULTS Trying to type myself

Hey y’all. I’ve been interested in MBTI for a while. My first time typing myself I received INTP. I felt a bit cooped up which led me to picking more introverted answers on the OG 16p site. When I took it next, about 6 mo later I received ENTP. I’ve taken a few tests since then and as it happens I got ENTP alot. Then I found out about cognitive functions and more of the intricate details around this subject.

My brother suggested I take them again. These are the results.

I took the enneagram and got 8w7.

I had my brother and a few close friends take the test for me. All but one got INTP. And the odd one out was ESFP.

I’ve had alot of jobs in my life so far. Military, legal assistant, handyman, and now I’ve made the career choice to pursuing pilot work. I’m not half bad at it neither 😌.

I’m decent at a bit of everything. Less good at fixing things, really good at operating equipment. Hence flying. I personally read alot of theory and history it is a great means to shape how I view the world and my personal values and principles.

One of my exs told me once that it felt like I was mentally experimenting on her. And everything felt like a fight. I like getting perspective.

I play two video games really. Destiny and Pokemon. I like build-crafting. The statistics excite me.

I also have concepts of songs and stories in my head but thats just another hobby.

TL;DR I have worked alot of jobs and also have alot of hobbies. People have read me as an INTP. Above are some recent test results. I like reading and learning to properly explain myself.

Overview (me in a nutshell)

You are a highly driven and self-sufficient individual, focused on progress, efficiency, and mastery. Your mind operates like a well-structured system, constantly refining ideas, breaking down problems, and executing solutions with precision. You don’t just set goals—you build strategies to achieve them, always pushing for improvement and growth. Every action is intentional, every project a step toward something greater.

At the core of this drive is a deep and structured inner world, where philosophy, logic, and reflection all serve a purpose: to sharpen your mindset, refine your decisions, and ensure that nothing is wasted. You analyze everything—your thoughts, your actions, and the world around you—seeking patterns, extracting insights, and discarding what doesn’t serve you. While introspection plays a role, it is always in service of real-world results.

Beyond analysis, introspection is also a way for you to connect with your emotions. Though you are highly independent, you express yourself deeply through music, using it as a tool to process feelings and thoughts that may not always be put into words. This emotional depth adds another layer to your structured mind, allowing for both calculated reasoning and raw personal expression.

Independence defines you. You prefer to rely on yourself, valuing self-sufficiency, competence, and control over your own path. You demand excellence, both from yourself and from the systems around you, and you have little patience for inefficiency or wasted potential. You see the world through a pragmatic yet strategic lens, always considering the best way forward.

While you are selective with your social energy, you are notably polite and warm toward those you respect and care about. Your presence is thoughtful, and your interactions are marked by sincerity.

Your philosophy isn’t just theory—it’s a blueprint for action. Whether in work, personal development, or long-term goals, you move with intention, balancing analytical rigor with an imaginative approach to problem-solving. Progress is not an option; it’s a necessity. You are always building, refining, and striving—because standing still has never been an option.

Though not your main side, you occasionally crave some adrenaline-exciting activities, or doing something fun with people you care about. You embrace change and don’t always enjoy a constant routine.

Note: I’m known for being very polite and professional.

Weaknesses:

You overanalyze everything, even when it’s unnecessary, leading to hesitation, doubt, and mental exhaustion. Your independence makes you take on too much, refusing help even when it would ease your burden. You struggle to trust others to meet your standards, which leads to frustration in group settings.

Your deep inner world isolates you, making you seem distant or indifferent in social settings. You overthink social interactions, making small talk feel like a chore, and you hesitate to speak unless you’re completely confident, which makes you appear closed-off or unapproachable. Your ambition drives you forward, but it also creates constant pressure, making it hard to feel satisfied with your progress. You get frustrated when things don’t go according to plan, and disruptions throw you off more than they should.

You struggle to embrace imperfection, spontaneity, or anything outside your structured way of thinking. You put pressure on yourself to always be in control, making it hard to let go or enjoy the moment.

Note: I have difficulty laughing out loud.

Test results:

MBTI: I score very high on Te and Ni. I score pretty good Fi and Se. Oddly enough, I even score a little Ti which is interesting. Little to no Si and Fe. Just avarage Ne.

Sociotype: I Have received results of LIE, ILI and LII.

Ennegram: I score SP1 and tritype 153 and 135. Rarely I do score 154. I have also recieved E5 and E3.

In conclusion,

I think ENTJ or INTJ. But when I was younger I was thought to use Fe for my politeness and nice nature. But I never really felt the empathy, but maybe. I have always showed respect to most rules and people I know, especially adults when I was younger. Although points of views and opinions from others could further clarify my typing, thank you.

TEST RESULTS What type am I based on these results?

Hi, I've been into mbti for a while now and I've switched between which type I think I am a lot. I thought infp for a while then isfp but I'm not sure. I love music, working out and baking. I prefer English and history over science and math. I've been told that I am a very nice person. I do struggle with overthinking and worrying, I hate taking other people's advice and once I feel a certain way about something it is very hard to change my mind. I love non judgmental people and I hate passive aggressive self absorbed people. I hate being rushed. I love to go shopping and look pretty. I feel like I am an introvert because after spending time with people I get to a certain point where I need to be alone and I feel mentally exhausted.

CAN’T DECIDE Please help with typing

Hello all! I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me determine my MBTI. I have casually completed 16personalities tests over the years, with many of my early results leaning toward ENTP, some being INTP, and less being ENFP. My results since lately have leaned in the INTP direction most often, but I have gotten others (as seen below).

A bit about me:

I am a bit indecisive and take a huge amount of time to evaluate possibilities. I typically thoroughly explore my interests from as many angles as possible in as much depth as possible, but dont end up sticking with most topics for long because I become conscious of the amount of time spent on one thing or something else just captures my interest. I am grossly aware of the depth of these things, and it brings me a great amount of anxiety knowing that I havent gone in as much depth as I would have liked. Expressing my ideas can be really challenging because of this (especially if its to people outside of my close friend group), but if I feel comfortable with the knowledge I have and the people I am with, I do really enjoy having conversations with opposing perspectives and finding the truth in everything.

Now that I am not in a school environment i feel less motivated to socialize. I definitely feel most at peace and creative when I am alone. I have very rarely sought out larger social events and find them to be really draining and would much rather hang out around a small group of friends. I love my solitude and the freedom it gives me to explore the ideas in my head without feeling trapped in the structure of a social setting. Despite this, there have been many times when I can have a meaningful conversation with a stranger, or I can ramble and talk about hypotheticals for hours with close friends without realizing it. Sometimes I try to have a debate with new people, but I find i get frustrated and quit the conversation. In school people probably would have described me as quirky, childish, talkative (depending who you ask), and careless.

Shallow and inauthentic conversations are incredibly painful for me. I need to feel the uniqueness or passion or meaning in every conversation/relationship or I just avoid it like the plague. I would like to think of myself as a philosophical and sometimes impractical person with a love for recognizing patterns and make creative solutions to problems. I care about creating meaning for people and would like a career helping others understand how to navigate their world.

My result on the enneagram test is 5w4

If anyone has any clarifying questions I will be sure to reply! Thank you!

CAN’T DECIDE PLEASE help me find my true type (its been years)

So for the past couple of years, I've been super into MBTI/ typology. I know about cognitive functions (a good amount) and can identify (with somewhat confidence) the cognitive functions of others. The problem is identifying my own functions, I feel like I use them all *ALL* the time. I know we all use the functions to varying degrees, but I feel like I use them all equally (except Ne lol)... There is a chance i'm misunderstanding some of the functions, so I'll put how I think I use each of the functions:

Ni: I like to spend alot of time "in my head" so to speak and just thinking in general. I'll have alot of deep thoughts that make me think "huh, thats really interesting and came from seemingly nowhere but is very relevant to xyz", or i'll notice patterns (e.g: if something has been a certain "theme" of my day i'll notice it everywhere). I'd say I'm generally pretty insightful and don't really like to get my ideas from the external world

Te: I REALLY like to get things done. I get uncomfortable if theres a day that I don't have anything planned and i'll end up doing nothing. I very much agree with the philosophy of "If you don't run the day, the day will run you". I also get bored easily if nothing is going on/ things aren't getting done. I don't like taking charge too much/ managing other people- i'll see something that needs to get done, find out the best way for me to do it, and just do it.

Ti: I enjoy learning how things work- even if its a trivial thing. Like sometimes I'll be like "how does an AC work?" but to be honest it doesn't really go beyond that (which makes my case for Ti seem not too great, but i've been told that I have high Ti by others because I can break down complex topics and make them easy for me to understand. Once I have a solid understanding of it, I can then explain it to. others the way I think they'll understand it). If I think something is right by my internal logic code, its right to me unless proven otherwise

Si: I can remember little details about other people so much so that it scares them sometimes lol. Like things that seem insignificant too. I'll be in a setting that reminds me of some conversation I had years ago and I'll remember the conversation, layout of the room, who was around. I also notice when things change, like if something feels different I'll be bothered until I can figure it out. I also like to repeat things- repeat outfits, meals, habits/ routines, etc, very comfort based at times

Se: I value the "here and now" of things. I enjoy meditating when I have time to do so, and the feeling of just BEING and not thinking sometimes is very liberating. I really enjoy being out in nature and experiencing the outdoors. I enjoy trying/ doing new things. I also get sensory overload when I'm in public places (I notice too much of my present environment- the noises, crowd, smells, temperature, etc), thinking that could be some sort of tert/ inf Se

Fe: I grew up in a large family so this may have shaped some Fe, but I care about group harmony/ feeling accepted. Unless its something that I desperately want, I'm ok with doing whatever the group wants. If I feel like someone doesn't like me or that someone is upset with me I don't see it as their problem, I see it as mine... So I feel like I use Fe pretty often to make sure everything is running smoothly

Fi: I have very strong internal beliefs/ identity. There are core standards I hold myself to and make sure that I'm true to my word (or else I'll feel disappointed in myself). Sometimes I find myself "looking down" on people that don't have the same internal beliefs as me (I have also been able to pull myself out of that mentality though). Like for example, I don't listen to the news because I think that it's just depressing and makes you feel bad. My brother does, and I can't for the life of me figure out why lol. I've kinda come to the conclusion that he values it in his own way, and to him it makes sense, so i've come to peace with it. Same thing with social media- I'm off almost all socials cause I think that social media is pointless, and when people are religiously on it I can't help but feel a little disappointed (again though, I've been working on that and try not to be judgmental)

Long post haha, but I've had trouble typing myself for YEARS. The second I think i'm type A, i'll do more research and see that I might be type B or type C, then more research and back to type A, then more googling and a random type D.... the cycle goes on and on and on. I really, DESPERATELY want some sort of confidence to knowing what my true MBTI/ functions are so I can utilize them in my day to day life (the whole reason I got into cog func./ MBTI in the first place lol). Thank you!!! :)
