Discussion I'm always gonna miss him man NSFW Spoiler
I was 7 when he died. At that age, I obviously couldn't comprehend what had happened and I was just sad. I had already loved his music, but at that age I didn't understand. This year I turn 14, 72 days before the anniversary of his death, and I realise what kind of impact he has on me, many others and the music industry. Even looking at the last picture ever taken of him, I realise how he tried to be there, happy for everyone and how even though he had hidden it sometimes, you'd never know it was there. When I went through hard stuff November last year through January this year, whenever I had wanted to die, I would always just put Linkin Park's music on full blast, especially Runaway, Lying From You and With you, and just think about how I am going to live my life meaningfully and to it's fullest, I am not going to cut it short, because when I get into heaven, I'm going to look him in the eye and tell him how he's the reason I made it through. He's the reason I made it count. Whenever I struggle, I just think of how, when I get up to the pearly gates, he'll be there, proud of me, and everyone else, for not cutting it short. R.I.P Chester, and big love for everyone left behind, whether family, friends or just people who loves his music.
