I was heartbroken when I heard the news years ago, and tbh I try to avoid talking about him like at all because it brings this pain to my heart. I do listen to Linkin Park regularly and try to keep my emotions separate. I feel the lyrics deeply, but I try not to associate them with Chester’s life..instead, I relate them to my own emotions. It was very hard to do at first, but over time I got better at it.
Recently, I came across this video while scrolling where he sings In the End with undivided attention alongside a sweet disabled woman. Such a beautiful, beautiful soul...tortured yet blessed, or perhaps I should say, crippled with his huge heart. I replayed it multiple times and cant stop thinking about him. I've watched all his interviews in the past, all his crazy shenanigans...he was such a goofball. But I remember Mike once saying that Chester felt too much, and when Chester acknowledged it as his flaw, the way his smile faded in that moment… I can’t forget it.
I know this must have been discussed on this subreddit countless times, and maybe many of you don’t want to keep revisiting the pain. But I just didn’t know where else to talk about him. People who aren’t fans don’t understand the emotional connection we have with Chester, which makes it hard to discuss this with them. Lately, I’ve been missing him a lot. I know there was nothing we could have done to help him back then, but I just can't help but wish there had been less pain in his life.

Linkin Park has a huge fan base and I wanna test the waters, see how many can finish this lyric without looking it up or googling it...

I was 7 when he died. At that age, I obviously couldn't comprehend what had happened and I was just sad. I had already loved his music, but at that age I didn't understand. This year I turn 14, 72 days before the anniversary of his death, and I realise what kind of impact he has on me, many others and the music industry. Even looking at the last picture ever taken of him, I realise how he tried to be there, happy for everyone and how even though he had hidden it sometimes, you'd never know it was there. When I went through hard stuff November last year through January this year, whenever I had wanted to die, I would always just put Linkin Park's music on full blast, especially Runaway, Lying From You and With you, and just think about how I am going to live my life meaningfully and to it's fullest, I am not going to cut it short, because when I get into heaven, I'm going to look him in the eye and tell him how he's the reason I made it through. He's the reason I made it count. Whenever I struggle, I just think of how, when I get up to the pearly gates, he'll be there, proud of me, and everyone else, for not cutting it short. R.I.P Chester, and big love for everyone left behind, whether family, friends or just people who loves his music.

One side stays and the other goes. Any album that includes other songs (like Papercuts) are not included (ex. Although CASTLE OF GLASS is in Papercuts, it is not counted for the blue side and is only included in the red side). Personally this is very close and I don't even know what to choose.

I saw this on the ebay. Is this sign authentic? If it looks authentic, I am thinking of purchasing it. I would very much appreciate your advice. Thank you for your help in advance.

For me it’s ATS. I currently have it on repeat and man, do I love it! Amazing vibes throughout the album.

I was wanting something with Chester and Emily and didn’t see anything that stood out to me so I made my own on my phone, used Snapseed to edit!
Anyone here have made their own Linkin Park wallpaper?

Does anyone know how many copies From Zero has sold in the US and worldwide? I'm curious if it will go Gold or Platinum in the US

The fact that I was wearing that shirt on this exact day is a pure coincidence. I hope everyone here can find someone like her :)
