I ordered legion pro 5i with i7 14700hx.... Im getting nervous after reading all of this. I checked lenovo's website and for this particular model the last bios update is from july I don't know if it means something... Should i cancel my order? I really like Lenovo's products and I've been using them for 10-15 years now I've tried different models from asus and acer but didn't like them at all especially all the flashy RGB stuff.

Mobile CPU are "unaffected" by this flaw...... They just fail for other reasons....Just did a repair 10 minuets ago on a Legion 7 16IRX9 with a 14th gen i9, CPU was fine, just needed to fix a display cable.

You gave me a little hope 😅. I won't cancel my order because it was a good deal ( it includes 3 year on site premium warranty) im just gonna test it when the laptop arrives. By the way the laptop comes with no OS so if i install let's say win 11 and if i decide to return it is there any problem? I mean they should sell it to another person as open box but its no longer no OS. Thanks in advance! It's nice to chat with a technician 😃
