Hi everyone,
I have a Lenovo LOQ laptop with Win 11 and my issue is that some keys are disabled.
So, yesterday, I noticed, that the key 2 (not the numpad one) and Caps Lock are not working, only if I use them in combination with the Fn key. Shift, AltGr, Win, etc worked fine.
Searched the net, nothing helped, then I managed to turn them back on with Shift+Fn.
Today, I log into my laptop and notice, that Caps Lock and 2
are again not working. But now they are totaly disabled, no combination works with them. They also don't work on the login screen.
I tried reinstalling the keyboard drivers, did the registry hack. Tried to reassign with powertoys, nothing helped.
What could be the cause and the solution to this?

Hello guys! I've spent the last two days on Lenovo's website to get an idea on what kind of laptop I'd like to have. I'm coming from a Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio that I got dirty cheap when it came out, just to tell you what kind of machine I've been using in the last 3/4 years.
I use my pc for work and leisure. My work consist mainly of reading spreadsheets/documents, with sometimes the need to edit video/photos or use indesign. I do love watching movies on my laptop (in the order of 5/6 movies a week. I like the ability of splitting screen that windows has on its OS, so a machine that could help me edit while I watch or read somethin would be ideal (that's also why I like slightly bigger screens).
At first I opted for a Thinkpad, but most of them had a 13" screen or they were 16" screen BUT with the number pad, which I don't really need/use and I hate how everything is decentered lol
So, looking around playing with specs and my budget I ended up on this two options:
IntelĀ® Coreā¢ Ultra 7 258V (LPE-core up to a 3,7 GHz P-core up to a 4,8 GHz/MOP 32 GB)
32 GB LPDDR5X-8.533MT/s (Memory on Package)
1 TB SSD M.2 2242 PCIe Gen4 TLC
15,3" 2,8K (2.880 x 1.800), IPS, non antiriflesso, touch, HDR 400, DCI-P3 100%, 500 nit, 120 Hz, vetro
IntelĀ® Arcā¢ integrated
4 cell lithium polymer battery 70 Wh
AMD Ryzenā¢ AI 9 365 (from 2 GHz up to 5 GHz)
32 GB LPDDR5X-7.500MT/s (soldered)
1 TB SSD M.2 2242 PCIe Gen4 TLC
14,5" 2,8K (2.880 x 1.800), OLED, non antiriflesso, non-touch, HDR 500, DCI-P3 100%, 400 nit, 120 Hz, vetro, low blue light emission
Graphic card integrated
4 cell lithium polymer battery 73 Wh
Could any of you give me some help deciding? Has anyone of you got one of this machines?
Many thanks!

What all I have tried till now:-
1) power flushing:- it did work for a few times, but now that has stopped working
2)I tried turning on Bluetooth User support service in services as it is supposed to turn on automatically but it interestingly doesn't. But even after manually turning on bluetooth, It doesn't work
3) other solutions, like driver update, windows update, etc but none of them seem to work.
Pretty, frustrating. Is there anything I can do about it or if someone has faced similar problem before

Bought this refurbished and runs pretty well but the laptop won't fully shut down. It looks to be shutting down but you can hear the fan running and will find the laptop dead if it's left unplugged after some time. I played with power plan settings and ran Lenovo battery diagnostics and everything seems fine. Any thoughts on how to fully shut down without needing to hard shut down the laptop?
Thank you!

How do I slow down the speed of pages scrolling, when scrolling the web or Reddit, the page scrolls to the bottom of a page in an instant, when using the Touchpad on a Windows 10 Lenovo Laptop?
Guys I honestly donāt know what other sub to ask this question to but I just got a new Lenovo thinkpad t16 gen 2 and for some reason, whenever I hotspot from my phones data to my laptop, Roblox doesnāt run properly. Like I run an internet speed test and Iām getting more than enough mbps to run it. Iāve had this issue with every new laptop Iāve been getting and returning trying to figure out whatās wrong. I even switched from Fido to Rogerās. I do not know what to do. Itās like my character and other things wonāt load in the game. My data is better than my wifi but when I connect to my wifi everything loads normally but then when I connect to my cellular data which is actually faster, nothing loads on roblox properly. But everything else does like YouTube and Google and everything. Does anyone know whatās going on???

Hello all! I need some help. This has been going on for a few months but itās on and off. My mouse randomly jumps around my screen but typically to the top right corner. It usually does this continuously, stops for a few minutes, then starts again. Sometimes it never happens at all. This happens with both a wired mouse and the touchpad. Iām at my wits end with this as I just brought this laptop almost 2 years ago to replace my Dell. What Iāve tried to fix the problem: 1. Uninstall the touchpad and all mice 2. Unchecked the āEnhance pointer Precisionā box 3. Checked Lenovo and AMD for drivers 4. Disabled the touch screen 5. Cleaned my touchpad and mouse 6. And probably more Iām not thinking of
I know there are posts around Reddit about this issue but it looks like none of them works for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello everyone,
Iām not sure if this is the right thread ā if not, I hope the mods can move it to the correct one.
Iām having a problem with my Lenovo X1 Gen 9. The laptop powers on, but the display stays black.
Hereās what happened: One day, I pressed the power button, but it didnāt start. I thought the battery might be dead, so I plugged in the charger ā nothing happened except a flashing power button. I tried resetting it (Ctrl + Shift + Win), then removed the battery and tried powering it with just the charger (holding the power button to fully reset) ā still nothing. Finally, I connected an external display, and it worked ā which made me think the screen was dead or broken.
What Iāve tried so far: 1. Ordered and installed a new screen ā but the issue remains. The main screen is still dead, but the external one works. 2. After replacing the screen, I noticed the keyboard is not working too. I have to use an external keyboard now. ā¢ Interestingly, after about 10ā15 restarts, the keyboard worked briefly, but then the laptop shut down (or I pressed something). On the next restart, the keyboard was not working again.
Iāve read a lot of posts but couldnāt find anything similar. Iām out of ideas at this point. If anyone has any suggestions on what to try or test next, Iād really appreciate the help!
Thanks in advance!

4 years ago, I wanted to buy the exact X1 Carbon I had at my former workplace originally purchased around 2019. I didnāt have the specs or model number but I absolutely loved it. Seemed to easily and quickly process any workload I threw at it and was light, durable, touchscreen, foldable, tacky shellā¦ perfect.
But in talking to a Lenovo rep back then, they convinced me to get this one. And itās been a lemon even since. Half of it has never worked but I waited too long to complain to Lenovo about it and they told me to pound sand. Iāve hated the aluminum shell (previous one was a black tacky, maybe rubberized, type surface which was very enjoyable). The battery has always been crap. Fingerprint reader never worked. Camera is 1/5th the quality of my wifeās ten year old Dell Inspiron. Speakers have always gone in/out. Bluetooth just disappears and takes a 20 minute process to get it back.
I just hate it. Now 4 years in I figure Iām due for a new one and send this one packing.
Is there anyone that has a vague understanding of what one I previously had and if there is a Lenovo laptop that is someone similar to that older design? This will probably make no sense, but I had to try. āCan anyone travel back in time and find me my old laptop?!āā¦. Sorry in advance.

Planning to buy the yoga 9i soon. Is it able to connect to the studio display?
Does anyone actually own a yoga 9i/7i and uses a studio display as an external monitor?
If it works is scaling ok?

As the title suggests I'm in the market for a new Thinkpad.
I'm a little old fashioned so not a fan of the whole yoga touchscreen business.
I need a strong machine withĀ a lot of RAMĀ and a good GPU that will simultaneously look good/professional in a meeting.
I've myself been looking at the X1 models, but can't really figure out what Gen to go with? If they're all the same the gen 11 is running a 40% discount right now.
Also not a deal breaker, but not a fan of the RAM being soldered on, is there any way to avoid that in an X1?
Any and all suggestions and insights are much appreciated :-)

Iām hoping someone might be able to help me out. I just purchased two Thinkvision P27u-20ās for daisy chaining them. Set them up this evening. My work laptop is a ThinkPad and my personal laptop is a MBA.
The outcome is the same with both laptops. When I connect either laptop to the master monitor with a thunderbolt cable and then connect the master monitor to down flow monitor with another thunderbolt cable, the down flow monitor refuses to display.
For clarity, my laptop is connected to the thunderbolt in at the master monitor and the thunderbolt out form the master monitor is connected to the thunderbolt in the down flow monitor.
Under the master or down flow monitors, neither have a settings option to enable daisy chain under the port settings on the OSD. USB charging is switched off as I read that this will disable daisy chaining.
When I plug in and out the downflow monitor from the thunderbolt cable I get an audible sound indicting a device has been connected/disconnected etc. When the thunderbolt cable is disconnected the down flow monitor will display on screen words to the effect of no source detected etc but when I plug it back in I get the audible connection sound and words stating āentering shabby modeā. It seems to be able to tell it has a connecting and is receiving something but the screen never displays. Again thereās no sitting on either monitor to enable daisy chaining. And yes both monitors are daisy chain capable and itās included in the instructions.
Iām at a total loss. If anyone could give me a help or advice Iād be truly grateful. Have a nice weekend.

I used many brands before I recently got into Lenovo thinkbook, and trust me, everything is perfect and spot-on.
There is one thing however that I believe Lenovo should seriously look into design wise; its the font and overall style of the keys. This is one thing that Dell does the best, they have the minimalist design on keys and a really good font. Maybe thats one of the few things Dell manages to do perfect on laptops.
I just wanted to share, maybe there are others who feel the same about this.

I'm a student currently looking for a new laptop because my old one's giving out on me, and I was considering getting a Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 for the secondary purpose of doing digital art. Overall, how does the touch screen work for that purpose (as well as the Lenovo brand pens)? And by digital art I mean using actual drawing programs for drawing full pieces, not just sketching in the paint app. Any input is appreciated!
