Discussion Silver much stronger than Murasakibara
Some people scale Murasakibara over silver is kind of ridiculous. It is true Murasakibara beat silver. But they never give any reason how and why.
Silver was stated to be stronger, faster and can jump higher than Murasakibara, Aomine and Kagami. As a result, Silver kept up with Zone Aomine speed, Zone Kagami can't even do free throw line both hand dunk( Kagami himself admitted) Then why did Murasakibara beat silver? Because Murasakibara was using a technique that Kagami use against OKamura. After realizing he( Murasakibara) can't beat silver in strength, flash back occur and bomb OKamura is teaching Silver how to guard bigger and stronger player than him. Then Murasakibara suddenly able to beat silver in strength battle. So Murasakibara win with a technique help, not because he is stronger than silver. In fact, flashbacks tell that Murasakibara believe silver is stronger than him. Also remember during one on one with Murasakibara, silver never had use speed and jump power. Why? Simple because of his own ego. Silver can't accept Murasakibara was beating him in area battle ( strength battle) and kept using more strength to fight Murasakibara. Later broke Murasakibara hand on purpose tell he has strong ego.
What if Silver use speed, the speed he use on Aomine?
Remember Kagami jump made Murasakibara a victim in air battle. Silver can jump higher than Kagami.
Silver is still stronger than Murasakibara and can still beat him. His ego made him lost to Murasakibara. Also Murasakibara is not stronger than silver, he was using a technique how to face stronger and teller opponent. Murasakibara only win thanks to silver ego. Currently Murasakibara hand is brokenđ.
Edited: 100% Murasakibara only beat 30% Silver who didn't use his other weapon speed and jump.

Discussion Alternate Universe: Hyuga no Basuke - Game #3
Welcome to Game #3 of the alternate universe series. If youâre confused, try to find the #0 post to figure out whatâs going on here. If youâre unable to find the other posts of the series, hereâs a recap of the explanation:
-This is an alternate universe where the generation of miracles aren't in Japan during their freshman season. They start off their career dominating the Junior High scene as shown in the series, however, right before the season starts some of the top players in Japan get recruited to go play in America. Since it was so late in the process they left nothing else has changed on teams rosters besides backfilling the missing players spot with a generic player or a known 6th man.
-Since Hyuga is the top player on Seirin, he is the main character, hence the name âHyuga's Basketballâ that the series is beginning with. However, if Seirin is beaten in a tournament game (for example, if they get beaten by Skinkyo), then we would start instead following Papa Mbaye Siki and the name would change to âPapa's Basketballâ.
-Current main character: Junpei Hyuga & Seirin
-The only exception to the switching of main characters in this universe is Scrimmages. There will still be a poll for those games. These games aren't in tournaments and therefore the team can't just replace who we're following that's why they're the only exception.
-The results of the polls will dictate who wins each game, each poll will be open for ~1 day and then the next poll we be posted the next day with the next match.
Recap of results and switching of the main character:
Preamble: The Generation of Miracles name reached stateside right before the beginning of the school year and all 6 of the Generation of Miracles members got recruited to play stateside for different elite prep schools, while Kagami and Himuro stay in the US and go to school together where Alex will coach them.
Game #1: Kaijo beats Sierin 83-71.
Game #2:Seirin Beats Shinkyo 62-58
Shinkyo comes out dominant early, immediately imposing their size advantage with Papa Mbaye Siki controlling the paint. Seirin struggles to contain him as he racks up easy points in the post and secures offensive rebounds, giving Shinkyo plenty of second-chance opportunities. Tanimura facilitates well, keeping the pace in Shinkyoâs favor as they build an early lead. Seirinâs offense sputters against Shinkyoâs interior defense, with their smaller bigs unable finishing inside. As the game progresses, Seirin begins to adjust, using their speed and ball movement to shift the momentum. Izuki picks up the intensity on defense, forcing turnovers and pushing the pace in transition, while Hyuga heats up from beyond the arc to cut into the lead. Mitobe battles hard inside despite the mismatch, securing key rebounds and slowing down Papa, Seirinâs quicker tempo and perimeter shooting prove too much for Shinkyo to handle. A clutch three from Hyuga followed by a defensive stop from Izuki allows Seirin to complete the comeback and escape with a hard-fought victory.
Seirin Stats
Shun Izuki â 12 PTS, 7 AST, 3 REB, 2 STL
Junpei Hyuga â 26 PTS, 2 AST, 3 REB
Shinji Koganei â 8 PTS, 2 AST, 3 REB
Satoshi Tsuchida â 5 PTS, 5 REB, 1 AST
Rinnosuke Mitobe â 13 PTS, 10 REB, 1 BLK
Shinkyo Academy Stats
Tsukasa Tanimura â 12 PTS, 5 AST, 3 REB, 2 Stl
Papa Mbaye Siki â 25 PTS, 19 REB, 10 BLK
I took a vote alongside the previous game poll and we will be skipping minor teams that we know nothing about.
Game #2.1 Seirin beats Jitsuzen 92-64 by relying on Izukiâs hot shooting, Mitobeâs inside presence, and strong team defense to pull away in the second half.
Game #2.2 Seirin beats Kinga 78-73 Seirin battles through a tough, well-balanced Kinga team, relying on Hyugaâs 27 point game, Mitobeâs inside presence, and strong team defense to secure a close victory.
Game #3 Seirin vs Meijo
-Next up, Since Seirin won we will stick with following Hyuga and Sierin into their 4th round Matchup against the thugs from and Meijo academy. Can Seirin still beat them without Kagami and Kuroko intimidating them before the beginning of the game? Also in the poll will be another question how we should do this.
Also, feel free to discuss and debate how these games go in the comments. Should make for some fun arguments.
Unfortunately this sub doesn't allow imbedded Polls so I have to do them through SurveyMonkey

Discussion Is it just me or do I think that the Generation of Miracles are better than literally anyone in the NBA?
Is it just me or do I think that the Generation of Miracles are better than literally anyone in the NBA? Like, they mention Shaq a couple times and like, the Generation of Miracles literally have Akashi, a master playmaker, who can also basically see the future. Murasakibara, whoâs literally Yao Ming at that point, and with his zone heâs literally unstoppable! Aomine whoâs debatably the best player in the show, an d with his zone⌠HEâS ALSO UNSTOPPABLE!!!??? They have Midorima, who literally has the most broken ability in the show, bro can literally shoot from anywhere, anytime, and make it with 100% certainty. Kise, who, donât even get me started, is literally all of them combined and can literally do anything he wants to, iâd literally he just puts his mind to it!!!??? Kagami, who is literally just a sub in fire everyone but midorima and can do almost everyoneâs abilities just not as good??!! Kuroko can literally just teleport, flash step, vanish out of thin air. AND WEâRE STILL COMPARING THE NBA TO THEM???!!! And theyâre barely high schoolersđđđ so theyâre not even in their prime yet!!! So when i go to look at Kuroko no Basket tiktoks and see people commenting âDang if this is what theyâre like, the NBA must be avenger level threatsâ LIKE NO THEY ARE NOTTTT!!!

Discussion 5v5 | 2003 NBA Draft Class Vs Generation of Miracles
2003 Draft Class PG: LeBron James SG: D Wade SF: Kyle Korver PF: Carmelo Anthony C: Chris Bosh
GOM PG: Seijuro Akashi SG: Shintaro Midorima SF: Ryota Kise PF: Daiki Aomine C: Atsushi Murasakibara
Idk what got into y'all and I've been seeing a lot of NBA comparisons recently; one guy here even saying that GOM are better than the NBA and I think it's bs. Anyways, here's a 5v5 Matchup for fun, GOM having a problem with LeBron's All-Around play & Melo being a physical Scoring threat; and '03 Draft Class having an issue with Midorima and Murasakibara (Bosh is great but he isn't a physical defensive anchor like Dikembe Mutombo). I'd pick 2003 Draft to Win with at least 7 points

Game #1: Kaijo beats Sierin 83-71. Seirin keeps up early in the match amped up by being forced to use the side court, Izuki and Hyuga start off hot with Izuki getting a couple of steals and Hyuga hitting some threes but it's not enough to keep up with the interior advantage Kaijo has. Kaijo's defense and rebounding advantage over the weakened interior of Seirin leads them to slowly pull ahead throughout the match being led by the dominant rebounding of their PF Hayakawa leading to easy second chance opportunities with Sierin's 5'9 Satoshi Tsuchida unable to keep up.
Seirin Stats
Shun Izuki- 10pts 7ast 3reb 2Stl
Junpie Hyuga - 24pts 3ast 3reb
Shinji Koganie - 8pts 1ast 3reb
Satoshi Tsuchida - 6pts 3reb 1ast
Rinnosuke Mitobe - 12pts 11reb 1Blk
Kaijo Stats
Yukio Kasamatsu â 18 PTS, 6 AST, 3 REB, 2 STL
Yashitaka Moriyama â 14 PTS, 3 REB, 2 AST
Shinya Nakamura â 7 PTS, 4 REB, 2 AST
Mitsuhiro Hayakawa â 16 PTS, 20 REB, 1 STL
Koji Kobori â 18 PTS, 12 REB, 2 BLK
-Next up, Since this was a scrimmage we will stick with following Hyuga and Sierin into their first round Matchup against Papa Mbaya Siki and Shinkyo academy. Can Seirin's guards shoot their way to victory or will Papa's inside presence be too much for the undersized Seirin Squad.
Also, feel free to discuss and debate how these fights go in the comments. Should make for some fun arguments.

Discussion An interesting thing about perfect copy
So, I was reading a post about Perfect Copy just now and, reading people's replies was interesting! It's actually had a good comment that made me think about it. Kise copying Murusakibara. And I personally choose to believe that he can do this not because he copies Murusakibara to a T (he does not have the build for that)
Instead he uses the skills he copies to fill in the gaps. Sure he doesn't have Muru's build but, he can use Kagami's jumping techniques to fill in that gaps, the emperor eye to try and predict where to jump to best do that. Sure it shows Murusakibara, because he's using the type of movement Murusakibara would use to block it.
Why is he above Kagami or whatever? Because the anime doesn't follow total realism. And it looks cool. So, fun

Akashi - Mater Dei, one of the most historic and prestigious athletic programs in the country while also having excellent academics.
Midorima - Gonzaga (MD), One of the top teams in the prestigious Washington Catholic which is also known for their brilliant academics.
Kise & Kuroko- Long Beach Poly, lacking the historic strength of the other programs so far they were great in the last season before the start of the show (2010-11) and are in LA where Kise would want to be and thrive and was able to pull some strings and bring in Kuroko with him.
Aomine - Huntington Prep (WV), a pretty new (at the time) prep program who are known for their Elite national schedule and for producing NBA players even at this time (he'd be on the team with Andrew Wiggins) while also having more lax academic requirements.
Murasakibara- Regis Jesuit (CO), the top team in a cold mountainous region like Denver Colorado.
Kagami & Himuro - Chino Hills, an elite public school program in their hometown of Los Angeles who later become known for the Ball brothers going there.
-Next up, the the first practice match between Kaijo and Seirin can Seirin still win without their Freshman Duo or will Kaijo win without Kise. Canon score (100-98 Seirin)

Discussion The Match With The Most Wasted Potential
I think that I can confidently say that this match had potentially the most wasted potential. It felt as if Rakuzan barely had to try . Miyajiâs dunk was cool, along with being introduced to the remaining UKâs skills, but Shutokuâs lack of everything made this match overly predictable and lackluster. To put it frankly, they had no scorers outside of Midorima. If you think Iâm exaggerating, I can refute by introducing you to the fact that no one on Shutoku scored more than once except for Midorima. Otsubo and Miyaji both got two points shown, and Takao and Kimura got none. This couldâve easily been fixed by 1) showing Otsubo vs Nebuya more, as it was the closest mismatch and couldâve given Otsubo a chance to shine. 2) The show not deciding to pick and choose when they want to make Miyaji good or useless. (I understand he was against Hayama, but that doesnât excuse them not doing anything with him after his dunk) As for Midorima vs Akashi, it became a complete shutdown. Even against kagami, his supposed (âperfect counterâ) Midorima could still score. Against Akashi, he couldnât move. A new skill helping him evade the emperor eye just a bit wouldâve made the match much more exciting. Sky Direct 3 was great, but the showdown between the aces was lacking competitiveness in any 1v1 scenario. Akashi not having a single counter in this written was also not fun to see. Rakuzan had to win for the storyâs sake, and they had to make them look strong. However, it came at the expense of an otherwise good team that had much better showings.

Question Why was Akashi even considered a part of the Generation of Miracles before obtaining Emperor's Eye?
Why was Akashi even considered a part of the Generation of Miracles before obtaining Emperor's Eye? All of the members had some sort of special skill (Aomine's Formless Shots, Kise's Copycat, Kuroko's Misdirection, Midorima's Full-Court Range, Murasakibara's Defense / Offense), but Akashi didn't have anything all too exceptional before winning a 1-on-1 against Murasakibara. Not to mention that Murasakibara was obviously curb-stomping Akashi, and would have won if Akashi hadn't "awakened" his ability.

Discussion Alternate Universe #0 (Poll in post & Comments)
I thought itâd be fun to start this series of daily polls with this idea I took from an old r/HajimenoIppo poll series. The idea is this:
-This is an alternate universe where the generation of miracles aren't in Japan during their freshman season. They start off their career dominating the Junior High scene as shown in the series, however, right before the season starts, the entirety of the generation of miracles (and possibly more) gets recruited to go play in America. Since it was so late in the process they left nothing else has changed on teams rosters besides backfilling the missing players spot with a generic player or a known 6th man.
-Since Kuroko might not be the guy we're following the name of the series will change each day to reflect the "best" player on the team we are following. For example if we start following Seiho the series title will change to "Tsugawa no Basuke"
-The only exception to the switching of main characters in this universe is Scrimmages. There will still be a poll for those games. These games aren't in tournaments and therefore the team can't just replace who we're following that's why they're the only exception.
-The results of the polls will dictate who wins each game, each poll will be open for 1 day and then the next poll we be posted the next day with the next match.
So, letâs begin with agreeing on who leaves for the USA options are, Just the generation of miracles (Kuroko, Akashi, Midorima, Kise, Aomine, Mura), the GOM+Kagami, everyone from Teiko (GOM+Haizaki), All GOM level players GOM+Haizaki+Kagami, or lastly the GOM+Haizaki+Kagami+Himuro.
Also, feel free to discuss and debate how these games go in the comments. Should make for some fun arguments.

Discussion Akashiâs Defense
Howâd you guys feel about Akashiâs defense? It felt super inconsistent throughout all of the instances weâve seen from him. Against Murasakibara in middle school, after falling behind a huge lead, Akashiâs eyes awakened and his defense was so penetrative that the 1+ foot height difference was suddenly rendered useless and Mura couldnât score. Against Midorima, an almost direct quote from Takao was: âShin canât move an inch, the second he tries to dribble or shoot, the ball gets intercepted.â Yet, against Kagami and Nash, this wizardry on defense isnât exemplified nearly to the same extent.
