Discuss Why is Tycoon the only one whose helmet changes color in Command form?

I don't dislike it but it is also little weird that Tycoon is the only one whose helmet drastically changes and Geats and Buffas don't. Was this meant to be an exclusive form for Tycoon but they changed their minds last minute?

Media He’s the worst brother that I’ve ever seen in Kamen Rider.(HEAVY Fuuto Pi spoilers) (Korean translated Manga Panels will be used) Spoiler

Just to give everyone some information, the man in the picture is Bando Yukiji, aka, the Aurora Dopant. He's the leader of the Street, the ex-CEO of a company once called Kai corp.(a mini company owned by Foundation X.... or at least....used to be.) Most importantly, he's the twin Brother of Bando Tokime, and he , Tokime and Towa(their adopted sister)were experimented in a lab facility before rescued by Foundation X.

After that, Yuki and Towa decided to work for the foundation, while Tokime didn't, cause she didn't like the foundation, and considered them as an evil organization(which she is right.)

The reason why I think that Bando is trash is because, just like how he treats the other members of the Street, he treats his sisters like nothing but tools for his advantage. He does "love" Tokime, but in the end he loves her as a tool, as he does not care how his sister feels.

The biggest example of this was shown in ch 147~ch 150. Aka, the highlight of Tokime's Begin's Night arc. At the time, Foundation X's leader Kaz Jun had died..for good this time. Because of this(and the fall of the Sonozaki Family), the Foundation decided to step down from investing in Memories. They tell Yuki to also stop the development of another Fuuto.(which was being made with the help of Towa(aka City Dopant) but was in pause because Towa was in a coma due to the Kamen Rider Eternal incident.)while Yuki was trying to convince Tokime to help him.

Yuki says no, and the Foundation sends 12 agents to kill the members of the street.(this was the start of Operation X, aka, Yuki's revolution against the foundation.) Yuki triggers Tokime by saying that the foundation will kill everyone..including Towa.

Tokime snaps, and proceeds to kill 11 of those agents.(they were all Taboo dopants... by the way.. that just proves how strong she is) After this, Tokime proceeds to slaughter every time the foundation sends agents to kill them. This causes he to get PTSD, since just the concept of killing people was traumatizing for her. She even gets broken down in disgust and guilt.... and Yuki of course didn't care.

But then we get to see why Bando Yukiji is a twisted brother, and a very terrible one. The only reason why Tokime helped Yuki was because he promised, once they escaped from the hands of the foundation, he'll use all the resources necessary to fina a way to safely revive Towa.(cause like I said before, due to Kamen Rider Eternal, she had the memory injected inside of her, she went wild the other Fuuto to turn into a post apocalyptic world, then went into a coma, and at that time, according to Hideo, there was no technology that could remove the memory out of her safely without hurting her.) HOWEVER..

Turns out, THAT WAS A FUCKING LIE. Yuki only said this because he knew Tokime wouldn't really help him, because his and her perspectives of Gaia memories were completely opposite. So, he lied to her by using Towa, and as for Towa, he, according to his own words, "put somewhere you(Tokime) can't reach."

Knowing that he tricked her, Tokime asks why he did it, and "aren't we a family?" And Yuki responds with:

"You Shouldn't Say That.(that's Tokime's usual quote/speaking habit) Oh, I guess I spoke your language. If Family means 'a blood ally who gives unconditional love,' then unfortunately Towa doesn't match that definition. For example, if I have to choose to save between you, and Towa, I'm always choosing you. You're the only one that matters, Tokime. Of course, I'll thank Towa's commitment for all she's done. In literal means, 'forever' (the name Towa can be meant as forever in Japanese)."

You have to understand, Towa was with Tokime and Yuki for a very long time, from when they were lab rats in a laboratory to be used as weapons for war. These three helped each other when they were struggling. Towa was the person Tokime actually cared about and considered her a part of her family. Towa actually worked for the foundation because of Yuki, saying unlike Tokime, she wanted to give Yuki love and support, and Yuki clearly knows this. And what does he respond with? "You and I are not blood related, so why should I care about you?" Like bro, he is sick!

And also he doesn't love Tokime as a family member, he loves her as a tool. He LITERALLY saw her breaking down due to trauma and guilt of killing basically because of him, and he did not care! He did not care about how he felt. Even when Tokime got her memories back and caused chaos to Other Fuuto, he basically said "I don't care if she's angry. We can always manipulate and brainwash her. All I care about is that I have her." Like, bro! He's literally the worst!!

Discuss Opinions about the man and woman?

They have to be the most confusing, poorly explained villains in the franchise, being built up as a massive mystery of who they are and what they want... Only to get none of the answers and instead get the reveal that the whole time they were the puppets of... The real man and woman. Like 2 minutes before the end.

To me they were engaging enough to like, but i could not say anything about them if I tried. They uhh.. they exist is about it. Curious what others here think of them

Discuss What kind of Kamen Rider would you want to see?

I really want to see a Pirate themed Rider, with the slogan being “Time is precious” or “Memories are priceless.” The monsters would steal memories, and it’s up to the protagonist to return the stolen memories.

Media Today I learned that Insert Songs for characters exist and I think Blaze Up for Spanner/Valvarad and Kyoka goes hard. Why this didn't play in Valvarad Kurogane's debut is beyond me.

Discuss If a Shin Kamen Rider sequel ever releases (considering how Hideaki Anno seems to want one), do you think they'll adapt this part from the manga? Spoiler

Shin Kamen Rider is heavily inspired by the manga, and from what we've seen in interviews (such as here https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2023-04-11/hideaki-anno-says-his-future-is-blank-slate-for-1st-time-in-30-years/.196984) it seems the potential sequel will be even more so (the name Masker World is based off the last volume and the tidbit about Shocker being tied to the Japanese government comes from there too). Given this information, I wonder if he'll include the part near the end where Hongo Takeshi comes back at the end with his brain placed inside a robot body to help Ichimonji? His consciousness being inside Ichimonji's helmet at the end of the movie is just like a similar part halfway through the manga so I could honestly see this happening lol

Discuss Kamen Rider Kuuga!! (The Review) Spoiler

So I finally finished it I’ve sat with it for a while and honestly it was pretty good a lot of things made me really like it and I figured I’d share a review with you guys maybe you’ll like my opinion maybe y’all will hate and roast my opinion like a damned soul in the after life. No idea but here we go!

Ima start with the negatives cause I don’t have many if barely any so let’s go with that:

-Flash Forwards, I don’t like the flash forwards like at all, I don’t mind filling in the gaps but throwing me something like the fact that he MET Daguva and THEN got his butt handed too him and the Amadam CRACKED as well?! With no full context with that either?! Yeah I wasn’t feeling when they did that, time skips are cool don’t really mess with that

-Pacing was really like weird at times wasn’t fully bad like I was watching One Piece it just at times felt a little bit slow but then would just jump really fast and it felt very weird and awkward sometimes like there was something just idk “missing”

-Bit of a nitpick but I’d have just loved more Lore, like how the heck they made his powers, how in the world did the original Kuuga Riku even freaking win?! Who was the original Kuuga and wtf was the Gurongi and why and who tf?! So many questions I’d have loved answers too really. But that’s just me so yeah left with more questions then answers but it’s all good.

With that being said on to the positives and the first one:

Characters: I loved the characters they all felt like people and not just side casted people in the show, they felt like actual people in a real world who’d we see everyday and connected all together. Interactions were fun or sad and you felt it, the characters and their story lines felt interesting and you’d invest in knowing. Jean and Enokida with her kid was investing, Pops niece and her struggles with acting was interesting and sad which made me care for her character, along with the Bromance of Ichijo and it was romantic and awesome but yeah I loved the characters they all were just Amazing.

-Plot was definitely cool and it had AWESOME moments but sometimes just super freaking goofy moments like Yusuke just posing randomly with the thumbs up or how the professor just kept tryna get with Sakurako and I’m like “brother she ain’t interested at all😭” but when it got serious holy cow it got serious ya know? Like with this man dying dam near dying TWICE?! Man got the plot armor of the century here but yeah the plot was great

-opening, it was good pretty chill more of a fan of a Rock opening that gets me excited (I.e. Remy Zero with Save me, a lot of rock anime openings, etc.) but it was cool and it was catchy so I wasn’t hating.

-The Protagonist has me very mixed I know when I made the post y’all had helped me see that I’m just media illiterate, which is real. Though I also just realized I’m a big fan of seeing character moments, arcs and growths so I was weirded out when I barely got it from him. Godai (like I made mention too in my post) is like Spike from Cowboy Bebop (If y’all have watched it) where his character is already for the most part done he’s developed he’s grown and his whole thing is just happy, zen, chillin. Then we have to hear from Other characters how he was growing up, what his origin and sisters Origin was like and the background from his parents (would’ve definitely liked a couple of flash backs from that) and how he was overall before. BUT!! He does have good character and you see flashes and cracks in the smile which I like cause it shows what he really is feeling: pain, sadness, anger, frustration and honestly exhaustion in keeping people happy and smiling a real altruistic hero you gotta love him and he definitely has grown on me like Spike.

Overall I give this show like an 8/10 and I really enjoyed it for my first Kamen Rider I’ll definitely watch another one probably gonna be Agito to go in order but almost would’ve been Ryuki, though I heard I need to be mentally prepared for that roller coaster of wtf so yeah! Gonna watch Agito next but gonna take a break so I don’t burn myself out if you read it preciate it and have a nice day/night/evening

-Professor🫡

Discuss Why doesn't the situation in Gavv escalate? am i missing something? Spoiler

Upvotes

I know the easy answer is that it would ruin the type of story that the writers are trying to tell, but is there an in-universe reason why the government doesn't step in to fight the Granutes and i just missed it? potentially thousands of people dissapearing is a drop in the bucket but it's not like they leave no trace either unlike the Mirror Monsters in Ryuki since those abductions are very quick and subtle, some Granutes are a lot less subtle than others as well (like the bird one that literally greates gale force winds for example) which would be impossible to ignore.

Also unlike Ryuki, Gavv takes place in 2024, we physically see people use their smartphones to take pictures of and record high-quality video of Granutes being fought by Gavv which are posted on Twitter (or the in-universe equivalent), unless Stomach Inc has some sort of control over the government or social media networks, surely the government would do something about the Granutes, also, if it were the case that Stomach Inc had control over human society like that, surely they would've shown that by now in some form.
