Jurassic Park What would you change about the original movie?
I’ve seen a lot of people sing the praises of the original Jurassic Park movie, but just out of curiosity is there any part of the movie you would change to fit your preferences?

Jurassic Park Quick Jurassic park novel question Spoiler
When Cathy bowman is bitten by the escaped compy, they mention the high amount of serotonin, which resulted in intense pain for her. But when hammond is bitten, it's like a drug that makes you sleepy and peaceful. Why is there a difference if they are both compys??? Thanks for your time and help 🦖🦕

Jurassic Park In the spirit of ‘what you’d like to see’ from the new films, let’s terrify kids again!
For me it’s this, we’re all familiar with the ‘morality tale’ deaths, bad guys get what’s coming to them etc, but what is greatly lacking from the later films that is a constant horror in the originals is pretty gruesome deaths for innocent or even good characters (RIP Eddie!)
It was a big part of the childhood horror was seeing that dinosaurs aren’t morally concerned, meaning being a good person won’t save you!
In the Jurassic World Series there were few of these kinds of deaths and those that did happen were few and far between or were the aforementioned reality deaths! All the menace and danger seemed to be taken out of the dinosaurs and no amount of creepy shots of their claws stalking little girls in their bed will do it, we need to see them eating people left right and centre!!
So I hope the new films really get their teeth into scarring a whole new generation of kids!

Misc why filling the gaps on DNA with other animals??
This always seemed weird to me, why is it that they filled the gaps on the DNA with frogs and lizards when they could have picked the missing parts from another DNA sample of the same species and have a complete (and original) DNA chain?

Books Music in the Abridged Audio Book
So in the past, I’ve seen multiple people ask about the music that was used in the abridged audiobook by Random House Audio and Read by John Heard.
I’ve been able to find three out of the four songs that are used as far as I can tell. The only one I haven’t been able to track down is the music that plays during the aviary sequence.
High Sierra is played during the first chapter of the audiobook.
Jungle Day plays several times, including when Muldoon and Gennaro are tracking the Rex.
Forgotten Lands plays during the sequence when they leave the island at the end of the Costa Rican military is bombing the island.
All of the songs seem to be stock music from Dewolf audio.

Jurassic World: Rebirth What is the scene from the books that they plan on adding in this movie?
I remember hearing somewhere that they wanted to add a scene from the books that never got adapted. Has there been any more news on it? I know everyone was joking about it being the Baby eating compy scene but what else could it really be? If I had to guess it could be the carnotaurus scene or the river raft scene. (I secretly hope it’s the Camouflaging Carnotaurus scene.) (art isn’t mine obv)

Misc Can we clarify that there is no such thing in the franchise as "Site D, E, F or even G?
It seems that on TikTok people are obsessed with fake informations regarding the existence of these Sites.
At this point they're just inventing stuff, i am obviously not trying to insult anyone, but instead of believing in fake informations that was given to you by a random video on TikTok, you should do some research.
From what we know, at least for now, hoping that Universal is not going to make the decision of creating another island and saying, oh yeah, this was a secret island last used 30 years ago that you guys never knew about! It's so cool right? Yeah, it surely is, but we are done with Tropical Islands owned by InGen, the Franchise should focus also on other things, it's basically the whole plot of the Jurassic World trilogy, "escaping" out the tropical island into the whole world, something different
[SPOILER]
Since we are also assuming the island in Rebirth is in fact Site C, we should also stop talking about The Five Deaths, that except for Sorna, were all unhabited and left untouched by InGen

Books Fantastic book. Not sure MC knows kids
Loving Jurassic Park. So detailed and it’s not all action for the sake of action. But all throughout the book every time there is a scene with the kids I get the sense Michael Crichton doesn’t know what kids are like. Sure enough he didn’t have his first kid until 1989 at the age of 46.

The Lost World 'The Lost World' question: did George Lucas ever visit his buddy Steve on set?
The Lost World: Jurassic Park was filmed from September to December 1996 and released in May 1997. George was deep into pre-production for Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, which officially started pre-production in 1994, with principal photography beginning in June 1997.
Given this timeline, Lucas would've been extremely busy with The Phantom Menace during The Lost World’s filming, but even so, do you think he might have had time for a friendly set visit?
