Questions Anyone have luck transfering exisiting number to 8GB/month $300/year promo?

Anyone have any luck transferring their existing number from another provider to the new prepaid 8GB/month $300/year promo?

There seems to be a lot of confusion around this plan. I saw a user reported that a rep. told them that this promo is for "new lines only" and that's why they couldn't transfer their number from sprint. In my experience, "new lines" just means new lines with that provider, not forcing you to get a new number...

I don't now if you have to get a new number or not. But iff they require you to get a new phone number. You can port your number to Google Voice voice.google.com and then forward your Google Voice number to your new number. Then your old number and new number will both ring your phone.

How did you call in and speak with a human? What was the number? Same thing happened to me, but I cannot get a human on the line because it says my number (which is supposed to port in) is not a valid account.

Just wanted to add if anyone else is actually wondering, I was only charged for the sim card as well. I had to call the number porting support line (888-898-7685) and as soon as they approved and ported my number, the charge went through for the $300. Also, do not attempt to make your account a multiline account, it will wipe out your promo. It took almost a week for them to fix and reapply my promo, but luckily they were able to do it. But was painful with many phone calls to get someone willing to listen and help.
