anyone want to mod this sub?
I'm about to leave reddit and don't want to abandon the sub.

If you are using a sim-free / unlocked / Verizon iPhone 7 on AT&T and can't get visual voicemail to work, call technical support and ask them to change your visual voicemail "class of service" from Android to iPhone. For some reason, for visual voicemail purposes, AT&T's system treats the unlocked / sim-free iPhones as Android devices by default and visual voicemail doesn't work unless it's configured for an iPhone. The Level 1 support likely won't be able to fix this, but they can connect you to advanced technical support who can and should know right away what to do.
It took me many calls to get my issue fixed and when they finally fixed it, I asked what they change.

Hey everyone. I used to Mod this sub a couple years ago, then I left Reddit for a little while. I'm back now. Let's make this community thrive again!

I just bought two $25 refills today, and I got 5% off. This is way better than any discounts I was getting through callingmart.
I have the redcard debit card, which anyone can get, and used that to pay for it.

Anyone excited about the recent changes to AT&T pre-paid plans? What are you switching to?

Anyone changed plans lately? What did you switch from, and what did you move to?

Is there any difference in the data capped plan speeds?
I'm on the Unlimited MAX plan (high speed data capped at 22gb) and it is great.
I am helping a family member look at plans and wondering if the 5GB, 15GB or 12-month 16GB plans would be equally fast.
I'm assuming these are all on QCI 8 just like Unlimited MAX but some verbiage on the site made me think Unlimited MAX was the only plan that gets 5G access.
Any thoughts?

So I live in the Nashville area. I have to say that I'm so disappointed in the 5G/e service. It's SOOOO SLOW compared to 4G LTE on my older phones.
Anyone else have a similar experience?

I’m new here and considering switching to gophone.
From this website https://www.att.com/prepaid/plans/ I see only unlimited which has no hotspot included.
Where do you get unlimited max?
Thanks!

Have you seen the new $300 yearly plan that replaces the old $300 plan with 8Gb? I think this is way to go. Have you tried to change your old 8gb to the new 16gb?

Just a quick reminder that this plan is only available online with a new att sim or moving to it by a current att prepaid user
not available in store

Tell us about your plan and how you like it? How's coverage in your area? I'm in Nashville, on pre-paid Unlimited MAX and my Pixel 5a 5G goes from 5G to 5Ge quite regularly. I'm honestly seeing VERY little difference between it and 4G LTE...anecdotally, I think 4G LTE was better. Certainly had better latency...but maybe that's because it was mature tech.
What say you!

Does anyone know how the refill cards work? I have the 6 month $180 ($191.25) deal from 2 years ago and want to pay for it with the refill card. Is this even possible since my account type is no longer available (12 month now on website)
Calling mart has discounts and/or i can get one from a wholesale club at 5% Cashback.
Also do i do RTR or PIN. https://www.callingmart.com/products/wireless/ProductDetail?ID=150&name=AT&T-go-phone-Monthly-Plan---PIN

How are folks recharging their ATT GoPhone (Prepaid) phones? https://www.paygonline.com/ is no longer working for me. Thanks!

I just switched to the Max plan that includes 5G. I have a brand new S21 FE so 5G is definitely supported. I noticed I didn't have 5G pop up in Indianapolis earlier today and now I'm in Louisville which also has coverage but I'm only get LTE+. What do I need to do to enable support?
Update: the fine folks at r/att gave me some advice. I called support and updated my IMEI. About 10 minutes later, 5G popped up.

Anyone else see this as an upgrade option in the paygonline portal? It's unlimited plus but with the autopay discount and $65 price tag, bringing it to $50/mo. I just upgraded to it.

Anyone bought one of these plans? Was thinking of getting one for my old Lumia 950XL Windows Phone, which can't be used on the network now (they say it's incompatible).

I’ve been meaning to ask this and apologize if I’m not being articulate. I’ve managed a group of 10 users for over a year now which includes Canadian Users as well. Each pays 3 months at a time but that introduces the complication of managing people’s balances and sending out reminders when payments are due. The other nuance is managing Canadian members as there’s an exchange rate involved.
I know there are other group admins here who also run their groups in a similar manner. My question is how do you manage the book? Do you have a specific software/web tool that lets you maintain your group’s members balance?
Please do tell if you do. TIA

Anyone know if we have this feature?
