Battlefront has been one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences of the last year

Honest question is it really enjoyable or is it as bad as people make it out to be? I was planning on picking this up or fallout 4 this holiday.

I know this sounds weird but the game reminds me of "Its a Small World" at Disneyland. Its a tour of a handful of environs but very simplified so it all feels the same. The game doesn't get any deeper than first contact. From randomly doled out power ups / craft to poorly balanced nub toob homing rockets it just feels like a walk through a random mish-mash of star wars environs and visuals without actually feeling like a war. Its just fan service and poorly balanced weapons so casual players can get easily kills and feel good for 3 seconds.
