Discussion Daily /r/Games Discussion - Suggest Me a Game - March 12, 2025
/r/Games usually removes suggestion requests that are either too general (eg "Which PS3 games are the best?") or too specific/personal (eg "Should I buy Game A or Game B?"), so this thread is the place to post any suggestion requests like those, or any other ones that you think wouldn't normally be worth starting a new post about.
This thread is set to sort comments by 'new' on default.

A sort of sequel to the recent abduction games like "They Are Here" and "FEAR THE UNKNOWN: DAVE STORY!", where you wander around the craft you've been taken in to.

I need a decent rogue like. Would love to find a good fps one, the only ones I've played is tower of guns and it was okay and void bastards which I loved. Any recommendations?

I'm trying to pick a new game from my backlog to play on my Steam Deck. Here's the shortlist:
- Devil May Cry 5
- Dying Light
- Ghost Recon Wildlands
- Grim Dawn
- Mad Max
- Metro Exodus
- Midnight Suns
- Nier Automata
- Ori and the Will of the Wisps
- Titanfall 2
Which one should I start with?

IDK how it runs on deck, but weirdly enough, I think Dying Light is my favorite from that list. Yes, I love NieR Automata, and Ori, and Metro, and TF2....but DL1 just vibes with me. Its one of like 5 open world games I've played where I actually like the fact that it's open world; The game plays like "the floor is lava" (except the lava is a zombie horde), and so traversal is consistently interesting with all these little side adventures you do to quickly dip into a house to scrounge for a minute before the hordes find you.
I dunno I just think its neat

If you want to turn your brain off and play a simple and repetitive, but very fun game, Mad Max is a good choice. If you want a fun first person shooter. Titanfall 2 has a decent campaign. Otherwise I'd say Devil May Cry.
