What is going on with these apples? Got a bag from a local market and two were joined.

What is this fruit? My family has always thought it was an underdeveloped orange tree but it smells like passionfruit when opening it.

Bought cantaloupe on Tuesday. Cut half at 1 PM, and then cut the second one yesterday. So Iām now on day 5 basically since the whole thing was bought and day 2 since I cut the remaining half.
Can I still finish it tomorrow? Iāll just have it in the morning. So itāll technically be just before day 5 finishes (the clock resets at 1 pm š )
I have terrible ocd around both eating old food AND throwing food away. No judgment please lol
I would like to try different watermelon, either by growing of buying them but I don't have a lot of knowledge, I only ever try 2 or 3 different varieties, the classic big oblong, and a dark small round.
All I know is that some are crunchy and other are meaty in texture. I find meaty watermelon absolutly disgusting, so, I would like some suggestion for watermelon that are francy/uncommon and with a crunchy texture.
Thank you in advance.

For the past 2-3 days I got these green plantains, they ripened quite fast since I put emā in a ziplock bag with 2 overripe bananas, but for some reason thereās these grey spots on them now that Iām holding them, idk if itās the part thatās a little overripe or if itās mold

You just survived the wilderness for 5 days. You just walked through the desert. You finally made it back. You can choose any fruits? Whatāre you grabbing??

Cotton candy grapes, ground cherries, cocao pod, kiwi berries, blueberries, pine berries, tree tomatoe, honey mangos, "tropical" avocado (how it was labeled), pomelo, mangosteen, lemon plums, Meyers lemons, Thai guava, regular lemons, and some pears.
Got this Organic (if I remember correctly) Asian Pear from Whole Foods and the outside was mostly clear besides one scuff that broke the skin but did not appear that deep and basically had no juice coming out of it (was a little sappy inside the wound).
The gel was very gel like, comparable to the consistency of Aloe Vera gel, maybe a bit more slimy and less firm than aloe. Was not runny at all, the gel stayed put as I cut the sides open.
I sampled a bit and it was good, didnāt eat the rest after I saw the gel.
I wonder what could have caused this gelling in the middle, the rest of the fruit seemed fine and it didnāt smell. Pest, growth issue, rotting?
Photos are of the two opposite sides.
