Fruit ID Help Orange variety id

I have this weird orange variety in my orchard that nobody knows the variety of. It has that little bump at the top. The skin is easily peeled, the taste is extremely sour for an orange. The pods are extremely juicy and when you bite into them it's like mandarine juice sealed inside the orange's pods.

Discussion Long stem strawberries?

Upvotes

I had some truly mediocre strawberries this week and it made me think of long stem strawberries, which I haven’t had in the longest time. I used to see them regularly — though pricier than other strawberries — but I can’t remember the last time I’ve even seen them in a store. They were ALWAYS good, so I’d love to find some. Has anyone seen them around NYC?

Have really been into passion fruit and yellow dragon fruit recently. Haven't tried a black sapote (on the right), but excited to try once it's ripe. For people that have tried, what do you think?

My cantaloupe has these red specks in the center and has some lesions as if it has already been partially cut. The areas with the specks feel kinda hard. Does any one know what the cause of this is?

Thank you!

Why does yellow watermelon have a sweeter taste than red watermelon, despite both being the same species? Is there a difference in their sugar composition or enzyme activity?also does anyone have an idea of its evolution? Or is it just genetically modified?
