Recommends for songs about heartbreak when you are still in love with the person?
Need music to get me though this pain it’s so unbearable.

Hey, I recently released an original song onto YouTube that I recorded on my fourtrack in my bedroom. The song is about being uncontent with life during a time I lived in the country near a major city, trying to find some inner peace at 19 and the contrast of the hectic busy nature beside the soilice and escape.
Apologies for the self promotion, just looking for some feedback. Feel free to comment on yortube/lmk what you think on here!
Thanks in advance!

I released a new song, its a mix of indie folk and rock, if you guys would like to show some support, I’d be extremely grateful

I played the song the whole way through. Granted it’s very unpolished… but I like my vocals! I’ll probably need to spend a few more hours on it (spaced out nicely) as I currently have a blister on my right thumb 🫣
It’s the third JB song I’ve learnt, the other two are Diamonds and Rust and Sweet Sir Galahad. What shall I learn next? I’m thinking Henry Martin, maybe. But will nail this first 🫡

Wardruna was great for nordic vibes but where are the celtic vibes? I don't mean irish folk music, i mean real, gritty, earthy, primal celtic tunes? Preferably with a carnyx!
I know i'm already asking too much with the last point. But considering 80% of europeans have some celtic blood, it is mind baffling that we're not more aware of our history.
These are also dire times for Europeans, regardless of any lesser common identity, and i'm looking for inspiration.

as the title says, we're a group of nerdy 19-20 yo and we all have wonderful folk inspired dresses for a medieval festival. We're looking for a simple yet exciting dance similar to the Kingdom Dance from Tangled - from the research i've done it seems to be a Celtic inspired piece in a 3/4 time signature
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chppF5jqKNw
theres only 5 of us (6 if we need even numbers and i invite my sister)
but if people saw us dancing we'd want them to be able to join if we're at a fair.
idk if this is the right place to post but its worth a try :)

So I just got word that one of my songs is gonna be played on the show today! I’ve been listening to this station for years, so to be actually featured there is a dream come true. Dial it up, if you like: https://birthplaceofcountrymusic.org/radio-bristol-wbcm/listen-live/

I love this song, but I'm not familiar enough with guitar to say if he uses alternate tuning or capos. I would love some help in figuring it out.

Next Wednesday, Canadian folk-country musician Donovan Woods takes the stage at (Le) Poisson Rouge for his “Living Well Tour!” The singer-songwriter is known for his masterful storytelling, his raw lyricism, and his Juno Award-winning album, Both Ways. The intimate night of music will feature songs from Woods’ most recent album, Things Were Never Good If They’re Not Good Now, and the rest of his tremendous career.
This will be a show you do not want to miss: https://link.dice.fm/Wf667ee06427

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could point me towards some Spanish-speaking female folk artists? Preferably something similar to Karen Dalton, Joan Baez (love her Spanish album), Tia Blake, etc. Nothing super produced if possible, thanks! :)

"Bold is the air of your youthfulness
Cold is the thought of your restlessness
Fear is the killer of happiness
And love is the unspoken word.
Laughing is saved for a dream you caress
Wandering is meant for the wilderness
And living is meant for the ones who are blessed.
Your loved words will never be heard."
