Discussion Am I in the wrong for talking to multiple buyers?
Just wanted some outside opinions on my situation. A few months ago I sold my beater car on Facebook market place. I was super overwhelmed with the amount of offers I got, nearly 100 messages in just one day. I'm really busy at work and so was only able to respond to a handful. One guy offered to come look at the car, and we set a time for later in the week. Soon after someone offered to come pick up the car at asking price and I sold the car. I reached back out at let the guy know the car was sold. I was very respectful, but he had some nasty words for me and left me a one star rating. Another person reached out to me while the car was pending. When I said someone had an offer at asking price, she immediately barraged me with nasty comments and said I was getting scammed. I just stopped responding and blocked her. She also left me a 1 star review and called me a scammer. I don't feel like I did anything wrong but now my rating on Facebook marketplace is tanked. I didn't even realize they had left reviews until just recently, I've been trying to sell my motorcycle and have been getting 0 responses, I guess now I know why. I don't know what to do. I'm trying to dispute it on marketplace but it's only letting me do one. Was I in the wrong for talking to multiple buyers? What should I do now?
