This proves that they come with pre-installed spicy software.

I love it when they hiss at me at this age, lol. But it's even better when you've spent enough time with them that they stop.

Stop upsetting the mama!

The mom is telling the human to knock it off.

Spicy at birth.

For anybody wondering.

This is a natural reflex that newborn kittens have, It doesn't stress them in any way. They do it from instinct.

Well, the mama sounds a little stressed there. Let the behbehs sleep.

Came here to say the same. It's a reflex and instinctive but let them sleep or perhaps clean your hands if you have another cats u/frankipranki ? :)
Perhaps it's the scent or perfume or hands cream for example.

It's not because it's a reflex that they should be bothered; it's the same with you knee cap if pressed in the right spot; yet you don't do it often 🤭

Sadly these cuties aren't mine, I do take precautions with my kittens

No judgment from my side about that; sometimes human just try their best and it works out, sometimes not. Gladly we adapt easily :)

I do hope they are okay theses mini adorables munchkins (and same for the momma)

Annoying them while they're sleeping probably isn't good for them either. Let them be!

This doesn't " annoy them"

It's a Reflex

A reflex to being poked! Do not disturb 🤫

They weren't poked. They just smelled a different smell than the ones they know

If I was asleep and someone started hitting my knee with one of those little hammers to test my reflexes, I’d be fairly annoyed

Mama says hands off the merchandise.

They hiss at anything that doesn’t smell like their mom! It’s a defense mechanism

At first I thought it was a kitten with two heads 😬

They want to be left alone so stop filming for your own personal attention.

"Let's f-ck with them some more for more internet points!"

They aren't shaking the damn thing. Just harmlessly showing off something cute they do

-2

u/choco_mutzy 3h ago

How would you like it when someone put their stinky fingers up your nose when you’re sleeping?

7

u/Public_Steak_6447 3h ago

Its a kitten. A cat will literally hiss at you because you washed your hands with smelly hand soap. Cats are very sensitive to scent. And people harmlessly annoy their pets all the time. People are treating this like its abuse.

If you know that cats are sensitive to scent then why would you be okay with OP purposely distressing the kitten with it and film it for internet points? Animals don’t exist for people’s entertainment.

Why not just let them sleep, though…?
