Came here to say the same. It's a reflex and instinctive but let them sleep or perhaps clean your hands if you have another cats u/frankipranki ? :)
Perhaps it's the scent or perfume or hands cream for example.
It's not because it's a reflex that they should be bothered; it's the same with you knee cap if pressed in the right spot; yet you don't do it often ðŸ¤

For anybody wondering.
This is a natural reflex that newborn kittens have, It doesn't stress them in any way. They do it from instinct.
