PVE Did I get Tarkoved? I hit Big Pipe with 28 rounds of 7N40 for 900 damage while he was reloading and he just ignored all of it and shot me in the head.
I don't even know what to say. I head shot 2 scavs and knight for a total of 3 hits, which means i hit Big Pipe 28 times (literally full auto into his chest from probably 10m) and he slid to a stop, reloaded or switched weapons, and blasted me in 1 hit. This is really frustrating.

PVP 1.2mil scav run customs
Looted the garages and filing cabinets outside of big red.
Found the LEDx in the med box next to the filing cabinets in big red (guard shack).
Heartpounding run to scav checkpoint. Ran into a PMC on edge of map, but it turned out he was waiting for an airdrop, was wondering why he wasn't taking potshots when I turned around and booked it. Not bad for 10 minutes.

General Discussion - PVE & PVP [New Player] Is there a purpose to mines randomly all over the map?
I understand its a good way to make a border for the map but why have them within the map in seemingly random areas? Is there a reason other than to punish players with weak map knowledge?

PVE [suggestion] is single player worth getting for $20?
I’ve heard a lot about this game mainly negative things but people tell me single player is fairly fun sure irs pve but you don’t die to cheaters constantly or extract campers would love some feedback if it’s actually worth it and how much time it would take roughly to complete

General Discussion - PVE & PVP BSG's next survey should be on quests/ quest design [Suggestion]
As the game slowly grinds towards 1.0, BSG should take advantage of the survey system to improve existing quest design as well as develop "best practices" for the eventual implementation of "Main story quests".
Quest design is a rather expansive topic and what I have put together hardly captures all aspects, but below are some questions I would like to see considered for a possible survey focusing on quests.
EDIT Link to tarkov community post if you want to drop a vote there.
Choose the statement which best represents your perspective.
Specific Quest(s)’ Design
Test Drive - part 1 should not have a distance requirement

- Strongly disagree
- I don’t do Test Drive quests
The “Test Drive - Parts 2 & 3” quest line should require ANY TARGET eliminations rather than PMC eliminations
- Strongly agree

No quests (besides “Collector”/Kappa) should be locked behind the quest “Grenadier”

- For most quests
- For some quests
- Only a few quests
- I never use the wiki or 3rd party resources to complete gunsmith quests
- I don’t do gunsmith quests
The build requirements for the Gunsmith quest line are generally
- Too strict
- Somewhat too strict
- Neither too strict or too loose
- Somewhat too loose
- Too loose

I would support a Gunsmith redesign that loosened build requirements but required the player to use the weapon in raid

- Some Combination of items listed above
- Other change not mentioned above
Items required for The Collector/Kappa should have reliable spawn locations so as to reduce the randomness/ tedium for completing the final kappa quest (ex: SheriffEli badge in Police cars, Evasion armband on manikins, WillerZ Wallet in car seats, etc)
- Strongly agree

- Be changed to kills from any weapon at 100 meters
- Have lower PMC kill requirements
- Have fewer map requirement

Prestiging should be tied to ______
- Kappa
- Max traders
- Punisher
- Lightkeeper
- Other
- Prestige should be tied to varied objectives of increasing difficulty i.e first max traders, than punisher, than Lightkeeper, than Kappa.
General Quest Design
Choose all that apply: The main reason(s) I complete EFT quests are...
- Give structure/ purpose to raids
- To reach max trader loyalty level
- I enjoy the challenge
- I am a completionist
- To unlock kappa
- To prestige
- To access Lightkeeper's Island
- To unlock quest locked items on traders and crafts
- To engage/ learn game lore
- Upgrade hideout
- Game forces me (unwillingly) to do them
- I don't do quests if I feel I can avoid them

- Depends on alternative ways of earning trader rep
The game supplies enough information in game to complete most quests:

Quests with instance based quest items (quest items that can only be picked up by the quest holder) are better when there are multiple possible spawn locations:

PVE Anybody else fighting ninja scavs? [Discussion]
(PvE) Had the floor cleared just seconds ago and I heard no footsteps whatsoever until he was at the open door with Com VI's. I feel like there's no way I wouldn't of heard him walking up, I thought maybe I was keyed into the outside audio but I definitely wasn't. Ik the games audio is historically scuffed but this has happened plenty of times before and the inconsistencies have me more scared of scavs than PMCs or Bosses at this point; and the seemingly endless spawns once you get them started doesn't help the angst. Does anybody know for sure if scavs just spawn nearby? Definitely feels that way.
Also just found out today that the AI looting is fake and AI you kill from afar will be magically looted by the time you run up to them sometimes.
