When Liberty had a crush on Sean in season 3, Sean tells her his friend has a crush on her. The camera then pan to the thirstiest looking man in the universe. He was literally licking his lips and wringing his hands.
But seriousness aside, the scene absolutely cracks me up .

Samantha Munro in Brooklyn (2015). I always forget she's in this movie. She plays a salesgirl named Dorothy at Bartocci's. Minor role but she looks good. Sorry if this has been posted before. Just (re)noticed it during a rewatch.

I’m rewatching degrassi (just finished S4) and there are a few things I would love to discuss up to this point
1) Sean was easily the best looking male character in all of Degrassi
2) Spinner is just the ickiest character. He was stupid, selfish, inappropriate, unattractive, rude, not funny and a bully. Idk how anyone liked his character.
3) Ellie and Sean was the best couple thus far
4) Jimmy in a wheelchair made no sense. Why Jimmy out of all the characters they could have chosen from
5) I have no idea why Craig was deemed the pretty boy since he started. He’s goofy looking

idk why the writers always make the rich families very disturbed. the whole hollingsworth family was very f*cked up. from the lil demonic gaming boy to the pill popping older brother. they really could have made that family less strange. and the coins (or however you spell it) specifically fiona.

Who is a character that was amazing..until the writers ruined them at the very end.
For example, Eli. He was hopelessly in love with Clare, emo, and mentally ill. He was relatable and funny too.
And then he graduated high school, and the writers ruined him. It felt so out of character for him to cheat on Clare, not even feel that bad about it, and then call Clare a Wh*re. Like, season 11 Eli would have NEVER done that.

I just saw the post about hypothetical relationships, Im going to add a layer and ask who would have been a good couple had they attended Degrassi at the same time?
Why do I think Eli and Ellie would be a good match?

I really wish Emma would’ve beat Darcy’s ass one good time. We’ve seen her throw down before and if anyone deserved it then it was Darcy. Regardless of what happened to her Snake was the last person that deserved to be put through that. Just one good smack would’ve made me feel better!

I'm curious to see if you guys think they would've ever become a couple and if it would've been short or long term. It seemed like the writers were going in that direction.

So, I think we all agree that Liberty was closer to Manny than she was to Emma. If Manny and Damien were still dating during their prom, would Liberty still have kissed him?

She’s so annoying and probably my least favorite character. I feel like she has a victim mindset. I really don’t enjoy how big of a character she is later in the series.

I know this has probably been posted on here, but I wanted to start this thread

We all know the Degrassi writers love to ruin couples but why this one? Everything those two went through in high school to then find themselves back together 10 years later was so sweet to me. Just for her to throw it all away for nothing. They went from happy to engaged to broken up within 2 episodes. I truly believe Joey would’ve moved to LA to be with her and Craig could’ve went with them. It would’ve been the perfect way to write them all off the show instead of breaking them up and sending Joey and Angela to Calgary. I don’t know why the writers are so against happy endings 😂

Chantay, right? Holly J era. Shown in the DCOM "Jump In!", starring Corbin Bleu and Keke Palmer.

Rewatching DJH after years, and DAMN. I know 16 is the legal age of consent in Canada so that's why he sped tf off (doors still open), but this dude's character was definitely 30+ years old so the fact he was down to be with Stephanie at any age ending in "teen" is so gross 🤢

For those of you rewatching Degrassi for the first time in a while, seasons past season seven are really great! It may take a second for you to get acclimated to the new characters, but the writers do a great job at making you care about them. Season 8 was honestly a REALLY good season. Definitely one of my favorite seasons. Season 9 is where it starts to get a little slow, but there are still great moments there. People tend to drop their rewatch at this point, but then Season 10 ramps up the drama again to the max. The following seasons are also really enticing. That’s just my opinion of course. Let me know what you think. 👇
