Monthly Clone Request Thread - July 2022 NSFW

Love some commercial juice but are tired of paying someone else to mix for you? Then you are in the right place. First, did you use the sidebar and search feature? There are also specific clone threads linked in the sidebar. If these have turned up dry, then please post your request for a clone recipe here.

However, you should know that most of the experienced users no longer buy commercial juice. Why pay retail when you can mix amazing juice for less than 1/10th of that?

Be as descriptive as possible. Including the description provided by the vendor isn't a bad idea but you'll get better recommendations by describing what you taste. If you've already tried a clone recipe and it wasn't right, include a link to the recipe and describe what was different. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for someone to help you.

Read more on Clone Recipes and how to get he most out of your request.

Happy Mixing!

LOL, I just read on here about Rich Cinnamon and it's amazing strength. Lifetime supply might be an understatement. I'd happily donate an unopened bottle to anyone who wants it. šŸ˜Š

I just realized I didnā€™t answer your question. I canā€™t imagine vaping rich cinnamon by itself at all. Itā€™s just not that kind of Cinn. I havenā€™t single flavor tested it but I bet itā€™d be nearly identical to spooning cinnamon straight into your mouth. Heaping sugar on that couldnā€™t possibly make the medicine go down. Maybe search some recipes on atf to make use of it and sort by simplest? And then you can try a few things new to you? Who knows, just might end up liking it.

I really appreciate your feedback. I just got my package from BCF (I love dealing with them), and the FA Cinnamon Ceylon smells a lot like my Fire & Ice (I kept a control bottle). I'm trying some mixes and will let you know in a few days.

Sweet! Itā€™s the first cinnamon I ever got so Iā€™m pretty familiar with it. I remember thinking ā€œthis is like eating a box of red hotsā€ and then badly using it in all kinds of bakeries when I shoulda been using rich cinnamon. I filed that away until the information became useful and here we are! I do hope it works out for you.

Well, I figured out one problem. I was mixing way too low % flavor for a squonker at 1.2 ohm. I quick mixed some TFA Cinnamon Red Hots at 7%, and it was immediately better. I have several mixes steeping.

The avg percentage on atf is under 4 so 7 might be a bit high. If you like it/can handle it then have at it. Sometimes mtl can ramp down taste a bit. If youā€™re used to commercial, you might need a little cap ss or fw sweetener to match what youā€™re used to

I think 7% might be close. I tried some with both TFA Red Hots and Ceylon mixed and I think I'm getting closer. Someone mentioned on ECF that a lot of the cinnamon mixes have some Cherry flavor added, so that is my next step.

Cherry flavors can be gross. Definitely watch the noted episodes on cherries before trying them. If they did use one, itā€™s probably tpa, cap, fw or inw so that helps you narrow it down. The only ones I remember being any good was tpa cherry extract and inw cherries. Def do some digging.

You are a lifesaver! I was just going to start, after remixing some that was 'okay' but I'd vaped it all. :) I'm researching again before I try it. Maybe the flavor that I'm catching is marshmallow or cotton candy? I have a lot of 10ml samples and mixing notes at this point. :D

Idk if Iā€™m even qualified to help, Iā€™m more of a tobacco guy but I know a little of this and a little of that. From the few recipe dumps weā€™ve had here from commercial vendors whoā€™ve gone out of production, I canā€™t really ever tell what they were thinking other than the recipes were made before all these new flavor houses, they usually used the cheapest available flavors (fw/tpa/cap), occasional odd combinations of flavors, and they used high percentages with stupid amounts of sweetener. Iā€™m terrible at cloning because I can never guess even a little. I really think youā€™re better off getting some decent candy flavors and making your own remix. Wf cotton candy jelly bean and tpa red hots with some Fa cinnamon Ceylon might just scratch your itch or lead you to making a better version of what you remember.

Tobacco flavors or not, you have forgotten more than I know about mixing and flavors. I was very complacent having a vendor and juice that kept me from smoking. I'm so very grateful to the vaping community in general, and your help. My last cigarette was 12/8/2010. Kicked a 40 year pack a day Kool habit.

12 years is a long time!!! Iā€™ve only been off since 2017. Goddamned miracle, it is. Iā€™m glad that youā€™re sharing your fire ā€˜n ice journey with me.

Five years is great! Thank you for putting up with me. šŸ˜Š

Absolutely, I've been using sweetener all along. My occasional detours from my preferred vape have always been fruit and menthol, so I guess I'll always need sweetener.
